How long does your OPK stay positive

Just that really. I had a blazing positive yesterday morning and it's still positive (though not blazing) this morning. When I was ttc my daughter I don't remember my positives lasting this long, I'd be lucky to even catch a surge at all.

I don't have any pregnancy tests in but now I'm worrying I'm pregnant.

Depends on at what time of your cycle you took the test. I sometimes have 2days of strong positives during ovulation. Similarly when I'm pregnant the tests are also positive.

My daughter is only five months, still breastfed and my periods aren't regular yet but this is CD 37 since I last bled. We've only had sex maybe three or four times since she was born though and I'd been using OPKs to make sure I wasn't ovulating.

That's good to know you sometimes get 2 days of strong positives! I think I'll definitely have to be more careful from now on. I do want another baby but maybe not quite so soon.

Did you test again? OPKs aren't a great was to determine when to avoid sex because sperm can live for 5-7 days inside the uterus. So if you have sex and a few days later get a positive, it may be too late.
