@Daffodil21 That is odd that they haven't told you what the appointment is for. I would have thought if you were having any scans, that is would say on the letter. Hopefully you can get hold of them tomorrow so you know what to expect.
@Tofu35 sorry about AF arriving 💐

SVC11 · 08/07/2020 19:46

Anyone testing the weekend? Husband is going away for 2 months so I'm hoping it stuck this time. Not due until the 16th but I thought I could test with a frer before he goes? Absolutely no symptoms though. 7dpo xx

Tofu35 · 08/07/2020 21:22

Thanks @Bam27, sounds daft but I was hoping I would at least get to test this month! Watching some old films (although husband has now stolen the remote).

Good luck @SVC11Smile

acaciabluebell · 08/07/2020 21:29

@SVC11 I'm also 7dpo and might test on the weekend! Good luck x

Rm20 · 08/07/2020 21:35

Hey, sorry to jump into the group when you guys all been here for so long. I’m TTC and in need of some advice.

I’ve been using the apps since March but in June started using the OPKs which were positive a week after the app said I’d be ovulating. This was positive 1st and 2nd July, period said to now be due 17th after recalculating after late ovulation. I’ve had some cramping the last couple of days, very mild and some dark brown spotting this evening. This is all so hard to track. Would this be my period arriving early :(

SVC11 · 08/07/2020 21:35

How are you feeling @acaciabluebell

JTB123 · 08/07/2020 21:36

More EWCM yesterday and today, and still not positive OPK 😩😩 arrghhhh

Bam27 · 08/07/2020 21:36

@SVC11 @acaciabluebell good luck for testing this weekend! 🤞 Hope to see some positives @acaciabluebell did you see the post I tagged you in yesterday? One step opk picked up my LH surge later in the day.

Bam27 · 08/07/2020 21:40

@JTB123 I had ewcm for 7 days before I ovulated on cycle day 24! Perhaps you just ovulate little later than you thought. Ewcm is a good indicator that it is on its way. What tests are you using? How often?

Dreaming101 · 08/07/2020 21:44

@SVC11 good luck sweetie I’m 7DPO too (I think but messy cycles)

@JTB123 EWCM is a good sign hopefully the big O is on its way! I hate the waiting game!

@Rm20
welcome aboard! How long have you been TTC for?
I ovulate later than the apps say too, I think it’s quite rare women ovulate bang in 14 days!
It’s could be AF arriving or you could be lucky and it be implantation bleeding? Maybe try an early response test on the weekend for peace of mine if AF hasn’t shown?

@Daffodil21 how are you feeling this eve?

Daffodil21 · 08/07/2020 21:46

Hi @Rm20 welcome to the thread

I would say take what your app says with a pinch of salt - it'll still be learning 'you'.

If AF is due 17th July then right about now would be implantation, which could be why you are spotting. I don't want to get your hopes up too much because I have been caught out by thinking spotting is implantation before, only for AF to arrive a few days later, so I suppose time will tell! Good luck and keep us posted

@Dreaming101 I'm actually ok, thanks for asking. Sorry for my meltdown yesterday 😂 I seem to be having too many of those lately! On CD36 so hopefully this crappy cycle will be over soon! How are you? Hope Friday doesn't feel too far away for you x

Rm20 · 08/07/2020 21:57

@Daffodil21 @Dreaming101
Thank you for the welcome! It’s so nice to have people to talk to about this all. I’m majorly confusing my partner with all the intricate chat of conception!

I know, the apps aren’t the greatest if come to realise. I started OPKs this month just gone by so I’m hoping they’ll be much more useful. I read a little about implantation bleeding but didn’t want to get my hopes up. Hard not to though isn’t it. We have only been TTC since March so I need to learn patience. That’s a big test.

I think I will purchase an early detection test for the weekend and keep you posted.

Thank you all Smile x

acaciabluebell · 08/07/2020 22:19

@Bam27 I did! Good to know that the cheap OPK picked up the surge too, although much later. Do you prefer using the CB?

Bam27 · 08/07/2020 22:28

@acaciabluebell I'm not sure which I prefer tbh, the CB picked it up in the morning which is impressive and means I wouldn't have to test multiple time a day. They are super easy to use and there is no guessing because its digital. But I quite liked seeing the line progress on the one step.
@Rm20 welcome to the thread 🙂 I'm the same 😂 my OH has no clue what I'm talking about half the time.

JTB123 · 08/07/2020 22:33

@Bam27 using the OneStep strips from amazon! CD20 tomorrow so hopefully it won't be too much longer! X

acaciabluebell · 08/07/2020 22:39

@SVC11 Been feeling very crampy today, mostly on my right side. And my boobs have been sore for a while now. How about you?

acaciabluebell · 08/07/2020 22:43

@Bam27 did you use the one that gives you a flashing smiley for the fertile days too? Or the one that only shows a smiley? I wonder if the former is easier (I know it's more expensive too though).

I think I'm gonna stick with my cheap OPKs given I've got so many of them still (like 60 lol)

Bam27 · 08/07/2020 22:50

@acaciabluebell I used the one with the flashing smiley as well, but I had the flashing smiley for a whole week, so it was good to see when the line on the one step OPKs started to get darker.

SVC11 · 08/07/2020 22:57

A few bits and bobs then, it's interesting that you get more in tune with your body isn't it. I've had nothing really, my boobs are a little more tender but they do get like that throughout my cycle anyway so no real twinges or anything. Just can't wait for the weekend now. X

Dreaming101 · 08/07/2020 23:08

@Daffodil21meltdowns are normal but you’re doing amazing. Glad you’re feeling okay though! If it makes you feel better... I cried at mamma Mia 2 last night.. I’ve seen it a million times before but for some reason I cried🙈
I’m a terrible stress head I’m either grumpy or over emotional.. I may even call the drs tomorrow afternoon to see if any results are in.

@Rm20 I started TTC in March too, patience isn’t a virtue of mine. I naively assumed it was easy to get pregnant. Were you on birth control before?

I really want to know what the deleted message said 😂 it always makes me curious! We've never had one on this thread before..!

Thanks @Dreaming101 - TTC definitely changes you! And don't worry, I'm sure we've all been there!

@Daffodil21 damn it why were none of us awake at 3.20am 👌🏼

Daffodil21 · 09/07/2020 09:49

I just got a fucking smiley face on my opk!! It's CD37!!! That means around a 52 day cycle! The longest I've had since I started tracking almost 2 years ago!

I cannot tell you how annoyed I am. We dtd so much for the first 30 days of my cycle, and now not so much!

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
