@Daffodil21 There is still a chance you could have missed it if it happened in the afternoon and didn't last long or if your urine was too dilute or something. Ooh no, that sounds very stressful!
@SC1989 my cycles actually used to be 28-30 days and now sometimes they are 40 days long! I do sometimes wonder whether the stress delays ovulation.

@acaciabluebell that's the line I got with the static smiley. It's definitely darker but not as dark as the control line. Did your positive OPKs come up straight away or did you have to wait the full amount of time? I had to wait for mine.

@Bam27 Oh wow, thanks for posting this! That's troubling that the One Step isn't picking up the LH level but the CB is. The test line should be at least as dark as the control line at this point. Have you tested any more times today?

I always had to wait around 10 or more minutes for mine. I think the packet says to wait 10 mins, and discard any results after 30 mins.

@acaciabluebell I haven't tested again yet but I will later. I will let you know what it says later when I do. I took that pic after 10 mins.

@acaciabluebell I did chuck it away right after taking that picture so the line could have got darker.

@acaciabluebell This is the OPK I did last night, forgot to post it. The test line is darker than the control line on this one. So one-step did pick up my lh surge, just much later in the day as CB picked it up in the morning. Hope that's helpful.

@Bam27 yes that's definitely darker! Hope you managed to DTD. You should be entering your TWW soon! Xx

So I didn't make it until Friday, just tested and BFN. CD35 so that's definitely me out, even though I probably wasn't ever 'in' this month. It wasn't even a cheapie, I used my last test and it was a clear blue 😒 Why is it so fucking disappointing even though I never even got a bloody smiley this month?! Ffsssss I hate this

@Daffodil21 I'm sorry you got a negative test 🙁 It doesn't matter how unlikely it is, we still get our hopes up each month! That disappointment is the worst 💐 hope you are okay x

@Daffodil21 aw that's shit I'm sorry. Any sign of AF turning up? Do you feel well in yourself?

@ALew15 I don't even know tbh - I had some slight cramping yesterday but I'm not sure if my brain was making it up symptom spotting if that makes sense. I don't usually get cramps just before - just badish ones on the first proper day of bleeding. I'm just sick of trying tbh. We'll now be entering into the 20th month of TTC. How can 2 people try for 20 months and not have a successful pregnancy?! We've certainly been having enough sex 😒

The next cycle will be the one I got pregnant for the first time this time last year. So I've got all the fucking 'anniversaries' coming up soon. I need to get my shit together before they happen.

I've got a feeling AF is going to hold off rearing her ugly head this month too, just to drag it out some more

@Daffodil21 that's so shitty 😩 we've only been trying for 1 cycle and I'm already bored and impatient so I can't imagine what you're going through each month but don't lose hope... ever xx

Blood tests done, results should be back Friday!
LH, FSH, prolactin, oestrogen, testosterone, kidney and liver function, bone, thyroid function and some other bits but I can’t remember.

Talk about a full MOT, I’m looking forward in a odd way to the results as if there is a little issue at least I know so early on in our journey of TTC!

I'm a few days late for AF. I've taken enough pregnancy tests to conclude I'm not pregnant. Usually a 28 day cycle (which would mean I was due sat) but last month was 30 days (meaning due yesterday). Still hasn't turned up today. I don't know if I'm half a day late or more like nearly 3! I just wish AF would arrive if it really needs to so I can start another cycle. It will be my first month using OPKs once cycle 3 begins...

I'm being stressy right now guys help!

I'm usually a 28 day cycle, sometimes ends up at 30. On CD28 I took a pregnancy test, negative. Then again on Sunday (cd30) and then again yday by which time I have missed a period for sure.

My app tells me I'm on CD33. I've had spotting for the last few days. 3 negative tests. Ugh!

I'm worried that AF hasn't properly started as all the signs are that I am not pregnant...

It is spotting to the extent that you can't even tell when you wipe (sorry tmi) but I have been wearing a pad for the last few days and can tell there is a slight tinge of brown, so appears to be very light spotting.

@SC1989 I had very similar last month. I thought it was implantation bleeding, I even googled images and compared and it was very similar, but it turned out to be AF starting earlier.

I suppose it's two things- either the beginning of AF (I've noticed I have had some spotting a few days before the last two cycles), or it could possibly be implantation bleeding. I know this isn't what you want o hear but you won't have any answers until a few days/up to a week. I think if it's implantation it can take a week to show on a pregnancy test x

I had a letter through from the fertility clinic saying I have an appointment next Friday (they didn't actually say what it was for). Suddenly shitting it a bit!! But progress I suppose...

@Dreaming101 I have no idea what it's for though. I was expecting blood tests at my local GP when things start picking up again, and a scan at the clinic. But the letter doesn't say anything about a scan - they normally tell you to have a full bladder... Maybe it's the dreaded probe so I don't need to?

Also possible I will be on my period then 😱

@Daffodil21 is this going to be your first appointment? Maybe it will just be an initial consultation and chat?

@Daffodil21 try not to panic, it’s possibly just your initial consultation. I’m sure they would tell you if it was anything else but no harm in giving them a call and asking?
I’m sure they’d be more than happy to give you peace of mind!

@Bam27 @Dreaming101 we've had our initial consultation via video call. Initially my husband was the 'patient' and everything was addressed to only him. They said they won't offer any treatment until it's been 2 years since a pregnancy, but they would do blood tests to check i'm ovulating (I wasn't worried I wasn't, but not so sure after this month), and a scan to check my tubes. He said both these things were just tick box exercises for paperwork and he didn't have any concerns because even though it was unsuccessful, I have conceived before.

I tried calling several times today but no answer, and they closed at 1 as on reduced hours atm. I'll try again tomorrow but if not I guess I'll have to assume a full bladder for a scan and just go with it. If I am on my period and it's an internal scan then it won't be the first time I've had a transvaginal scan while bleeding so 🤷‍♀️

Day 31- AF today, two days earlier than my app suggested. Better get online and buy more tests and vitamins for next cycle!
