This is my 6th cycle of TTC. I’ve been using Clear Blue OPKs for 4 of the cycles and always ovulate between day 13-15. I have quite a short cycle (25-28 days) and was worried as my LP only seemed to be 10/11 days. I started on pregnacare and am halfway through my second pack. I suffer with terrible period pains and my consultant says the next step is to see if I have endometriosis as my scans and cervical screening were normal.
So this cycle started with a low pain period (I take painkillers from the first hint of it so this may have taken the edge of) and I was so happy as I have cut down on caffeine and started pregnacare and thought it was helping.
I was due to ovulate on Saturday but didn’t get my first flashing smiley until Saturday. On Sunday I had a light bleed then was heavy enough to go through my underwear (tmi sorry) whereas I usually get some pink spotting 2 days after the static smiley. It’s now Tuesday and I am getting sick of the flashing smiley face peering up at me!
Has anyone had this experience with pregnacare or ovulation being late? Do I give up on this cycle or keep DTD in hope?
