Hi all,

I am 9DPO today and AF due Sunday but last night I woke up with cramps, bleeding and nausea. At first I assumed it was AF come early but the cramps felt different (hard to describe but more of a discomfort and different place to usual) and I never normally get nausea with AF. My nipples were also itchy this morning so although I'm still bleeding a bit today I took FRER and I think I have got a faint positive.
What do you think - evap or very faint positive? And if it is a positive, does this mean I am having a chemical pregnancy?
Any advice would be much appreciated thank you xxxx

Hi have you tried taking any different tests ? If it’s a definite positive and your bleeding it could well be a chemical pregnancy if it’s not heavy it could be implantation bleeding the only thing you can do is request a blood test with your doctor see if that comes back positive keep testing and see if lones get stronger etc how much have you been bleeding x

Hi Op I'm sorry but I can't see a second line in that photo but it may well just be the picture as they can be tricky to photograph. Just wanted to say that it could well be implantation, I'd wait a few days and retest. Also Iots of women do have a little bleeding in early pregnancy anyway so even if it is positive it doesn't necessarily mean its a chemical.
Take care of yourself in the meantime and maybe treat yourself to something you really enjoy like some chocolate, a nice warm bath or a film you love (whatever works for you). Fingers crossed you will have a lovely BFP for you in a few days :)

Thank you both for such kind replies 😊

@caitlin999 I have tried with internet cheapies and there is the faintest shadow but nothing convincing. The bleeding seems more than I would have thought it would be for implantation bleeding but I am clinging to that hope :( I guess I will just keep testing like you say and see what happens xx

@Csari no problem, it is literally the faintest line - I would have written it off if it didnt have a little tinge of pink! Will give it a few days and see. Thank you for your kind words - deffo going to try and relax and pamper myself a little 😊 xx

I just got a very faint positive after a 2.5 day light bleed from 6dpo-8dpo. It definately was not the light pink/brown that everyone talks about; it was red, just like a very light period. The clue for me was that it didnt ramp up, was only there when I wiped (except for the first thing in the morning) and slowed to a stop after a couple of days.

@lena528 thanks for your reply! That is interesting (and hopeful) to hear :) Did you have any cramps?

Slight update - tested with an internet cheapie and got a very faint line on that too which I've never had before. Still seeing blood when I wipe though. Very confusing!

I did, but they were very faint, almost felt more like blood rushing cramps than uterine cramps (if that makes any sense). I did feel overwhelmingly tired (napped 3-4 hours both days), was dizzy and slightly nauseaus (but didnt vomit) for the first day. It cleared up after that.
