We're due to start an IVF cycle (long protocol) this week. A pre-treatment scan showed an ovarian cyst which I've never been aware if before - initially they said it was probably the ruptured follicle from when I ovulated this cycle and would likely go away before I started stimulation meds, but later said we should consider delaying the cycle - but didn't give a clear recommendation. Has anyone had this experience, and what did you do? Obviously we would rather not delay, and age is an issue. Might it have been caused by taking DHEA? How likely it it to clear up during 3 weeks downregulation? Thanks!
