I would love some advice on this - thank you in advance! I was due to have my first round of IUI this month. Because of my age (40) my clinic put me on 100mg daily of clomid from day 2 to day 6 of my cycle. On day 5 I started to get a radiating pain on the right side of my pelvis, going down my leg. The clinic told me to stop taking the clomid and the pain subsided over the next few days. I was given a scan on day 13 and I had two large follicles of 20mm on on the right side. Because I have some worrying gastro problems and because of the risk of twins my clinic has decided to postpone treatment, which sounds like the right decision to me. But - I worry that I should have been monitored with a scan during my clomid treatment? Is pain normal on clomid? Should I be on a different stimulation drug next time?
