Anyone else DTD few days before ov?! 2WW

DTD with my partner on Saturday which makes it cycle day 13 for me. I ovulate around cycle day 15/16. So today or tomorrow. I can’t DTD today so I have to stick with my partners swimmers from Saturday. Wondering if I’m still in with a chance this month 😕I know it takes hours for egg to be released and sperm live for a few days but I’m still thinking I’m out. Anyone else in the same boat as me?

@RobinRose well I believe your chances will be higher next month as your OH sperm count should hopefully be better?! If not this month, It won’t take you long trust me 😊It could be! I just wish I had my opk to see what my LH is doing! If the line isn’t there then I must’ve ovulated. If it’s there then I guess I am ovulating! Hopefully I’ll find out tomorrow. So stressful lol😂

Oh lovely! Tbh I think both of your places are much better than mine. It’s boring over here in the country. Not much happening, not much to see, shops are rubbish. There are much prettier places than over here lol!

@Leobaby id really like to be as positive as you! What opks do you usually use? Nooo the country is good! Id much rather the country than a city!

@RobinRose lol I’m not that positive but if you think positive then your mindset shall become more positive. The clear blue digital one! But I’ve ordered the femometer one and the thermometer as well. Shall be here tomorrow!

For reasons that are too boring to go into I’m pretty sure that the sperm that helped make dd was 7 or 8 days old.

Not surprisingly dd is:-

1. A girl
2. Into endurance sports

And yes - dh was very smug about his “super sperm”.

@RobinRose I hope not! I’ve downloaded the app femometer. As the opks and thermometer is that make! Yes I’m going to try temping. The app is saying I was off by a day, so I’m actually CD 18 lol my bad. I just hope that when we DTD twice on the Saturday that the EWCM was up there already!

And finally someone who has conceived! @Mumoftwoyoungkids that brings hope. 7 or 8 days old is amazing wow! And how funny that she’s into sports! 😂 sporty from day 1, explains why she was the fastest swimmer & strongest to last that long lol!

Hey @Csari. I’m okay! I’ve had serious bloat for a couple days, doesn’t seem to go down. Also a lot of gas lol along with some cramps! Other than that I feel fine. How are you?

@RobinRose which opks do you use? If af arrives I will most likely go onto purchase more cb testing sticks to put into my digital reader. Just wanted to see what these were like too, I guess if then LH line is dark then that’s an indicator you’re at your peak. Just need to dtd every other day around ov 🤷🏼‍♀️ If I’ve calculated right I should be ovulating actually on my birthday in August so 👀😂
You never know, your cramps and headache can be early pregnancy too?! Period symptoms can be like pregnancy symptoms. Are you temping during your TWW? If it drops a couple days before af then it means that af is on her way. If it doesn’t it’s possible pregnancy? So if you’re not temping that’s a good way to find out too!

@Leobaby just the clear blue digital ones! Got so annoyed with them last month because I didn't get a static face, and we managed to dtd every other day 😑 oh lots of dtd for your birthday then! 🤣 they could be, its annoying how all pms symptoms are the same as pregnancy isn't It? I am certain its af though so not getting my hopes up. I don't wake up at the same time everyday so temping isn't the best thing for me!

And yes I hope so! 😂 I have a high sex drive, my oh use to when we first got together but now he’s like an old man, never can keep up with me lmao. 🤣 and yes definitely!! Well how many dpo are you now? And why don’t you set an alarm to test your temp, or does it not work like that?😂
And I’m confused help!! So I thought I ovulated 2/3 days ago, seeing as my ewcm stopped 2 days ago and I’ve been dry/creamy since (sorry tmi) I’ve done an opk and my LH surge line is pretty high? My temp is 37.10 but I didn’t do it as soon as I woke up. But now I’m just confused, have i ovulated or not.

For me it feels like its taking forever already lol and I don't have any symptoms either way, except a metallic taste but for some reason I get that every month for a few days after ovulation so not pregnancy related but still annoying.

I've heard that LH tests can sometimes pick up HCG @Leobaby, any chance you could have ovulated earlier than you thought?

@Csari tbh I was gonna stay chill about it all, I told myself not to symptom spot and not to worry. But it’s playing in my head when I actually ovulated. I dunno why I’m so obsessed about it this month! I need to chill because I have next month lol. The metallic taste in mouth I never know If I’ve had that before, sometimes Ive felt like I tasted blood, is it like that? Well, I don’t know if I ovulated earlier, I got my flashing smiley on the 13th, so I couldn’t have ovulated any earlier before that. My ewcm started on the 13th also & ended 16th. So I thought I had ovulated on 15th or possibly 16th? If only I didn’t run out of my cb digital tests. Just confused as to why it’s still high. Doesnt your temp drop around ovulation too? 🙄mine seems high? Would be too early to detect hcg surely. Is it actually possible to on an opk? All I know is I’ve been having cramps for 3 days, bloat and gas. Starting to get back ache. Lord knows what’s going on 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s also strange because I can feel my mood swings coming. I’ve been very aggravated today, the sound of the printer was annoying me. And I’m feeling anxious about things. I get this as pms. Which is why I also thought I had ovulated.

I could set an alarm if I didn't have broken sleep and wake up needing the loo 🤣 oh gosh sounds like your having a very confusing month! I would assume ovulation coukd havebhappened between 13th-16th?! Dose cm usually go dry then creamy after ovulation for you?

I am 100% symptom spotting and it's driving me crazy!! I'm 5dpo now but think it's more like 7dpo.

1. I have major nausea which in reality is probably the antibiotics. I was just putting left over dinner in a lunchbox and felt physically sick because of it!
2. I have bloating like never before including lower than my belly - again antibiotics and the infection.
3. I have all of a sudden no taste for coffee - not even caffeinated coffee but think it's the milk that actually makes me feel funny!

Sure there is more I'm forgetting! I can't wait to test already!!

@RobinRose ah well no it didn’t lol 😂 nearly 2 years, not that long to be honest. He’s 27 next month! Well, if you were to do a test it would be pretty accurate around now? Ooo are you peeing more often too?👀 and yes I am!😩 tbh I think it happened between 13-16th too. I’m just gonna go off that, I’ve read it can stay in your urine for up to 72 hours. It’s a pretty strong line tho, will have to test again tomorrow see if it gets lighter 🤦🏼‍♀️Might just take this month as a fail and try again on my birthday lol! Yes, usually every month my cm is the same. Sometimes I can be dry for up to a week until my af is due then it’ll increase loads. I just don’t normally have these symptoms.

@SK2970 ooo sounds good! A couple of the symptoms are most likely antibiotics. But you never know! When will you test?

Oh wow I'm a month older than him!🤣 not really but my cm is quite watery? This happend a few months ago so trying not to read j to it, still crampy today! Like you say there is always next month but you nevwr know! It could be your month! 🤞

I'm OK thanks, normally after ovulation I have sore boobs and bit of nausea right through till a few days before AF but im feeling completely symptom free still which is nice in a way as I feel pretty good but I also don't feel like there's a chance of me being pregnant this month either.

Another day closer to testing! Wishing for a sunny weekend as fed up of the rain already!! The rain makes it so difficult to go visit our parents in their gardens so really hoping for a dry day to get both sets in! How are you all finding lockdown? Are you all still working? xx

@Csari we had lots of rain yesterday and a bit of drizzle today, its been really nice otherwise! Hopefully it's a good sign for you! Why don't you feel very hopefull about this month? I am alright, still crampy!

@SK2970 lockdown hasn't been too bad, just miss going out for food really! I'm still working, i have been working from home since a week before lockdown! How about you?

@SK2970 exciting! I hate lockdown lol, as I already suffer with mental health it’s literally just made me worse tbh. I’m anxious there will be a second breakout, I think there will be too. I don’t think I’d cope to be honest. It’s been rough. I’m not working, so it’s been pretty boring.

Also update: done another opk the lines still dark, not positive though.🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m gonna keep doing them until I see the line is gone, If that happens. Also, done my temp as soon as I woke up was 36.72. Is that high or low?🤔 no more bloating for me. Mild backache, cramps coming and going. Can’t say how many dpo as I have no clue lmao 🤣how fun this has been lol

@RobinRose I don't know really, I guess I'm just not feeling it this month. Especially after feel so pregnant last month and then getting AF right on time anyway, im really trying not to read into anything anymore haha.

@SK2970 hope the weather is nice where you are today, we've look like we've got a bit of sun so I'm hoping it lasts.
