Does this mean I have ovulated?

Please can somebody take a look at the picture attached. This is the first time using ovulation sticks.

Does it look as though I have already ovulated?

Yes I'd say you got your surge sometime after 6pm on the 13th - I bet if you'd taken one about 10pm it would have been even darker.

As you didn't get the peak until the evening then today would be classed as ovulation day.

It's only when you get a peak in the morning do you class the next day as ovulation day

OP it’s hard to say but looks like you could have missed your peak in the evening of 13th. Had you tested before then? What were your results? I’d keep testing personally just in case. Also pay attention to other signs such as CM.

If OP got a peak in the evening then ovulation day will be the next day.

If OP got a peak in the morning then the next day would be ovulation day.

i would say you haven't ovulated yet... the 13 evening doesn't look that strong - as in from the look of it surge wasn't imminent and the following day are really light...
Keep doing the opks in case you get a proper peak soon...

unless you had a surge before those opks??? Have you tested on 12?

What is strange though is I had lots of EWCM a few days before for 2 days with negative ovulation tests. CM then dried up and went creamy.

I have been using preseed for the last 3 days but am also worried about that as I think it has given me thrush based on my symptoms today 😩!

Ive not spotted any EWCM for 4 days and have been fairly dry (since Thursday).

Up until yesterday, all of my tests were showing as negative, yesterday was the darkest that I saw and today has progressively got lighter.

EWCM is usually pretty accurate but sounds like you’ve covered your fertile period anyway

I would still do opks just in case and maybe take a little break from dtd in case it's thrush?

I'd say I have probably ovulated. I have taken another ovulation test which has come out even fainter and the app has detected it now as 0.

Regardless of TTC, I find all of this so fascinating!

I have also read that EWCM can come a couple of days before your LH surge and actual ovulation in some women!

No - my IVF clinic classes is as the following

Surge in the morning - peak OPK then the NEXT day is classed as ovulation

Surge in the afternoon/evening - peak OPK - then it's not the next day it's the day after that

For the reason that ovulation usually occurs 24-36 hours after a surge

EWCM usually dries up 2 days before ovulation so sounds right to me that you ovulated probably the 14th
