Anyone else broody but not able to try for a baby yet?

Just as the title says really! I already have a DD2 and and a DSD8.

I'm starting to get broody again Grin which is fine... Except that many circumstances all coming together at once means it's far from ideal to start trying for a baby. I've no idea when it would be definitely better, potentially 1-2 years.

So I'm working on just trying to put it to the back of my mind, and focus on things I need to be doing right now. But some days it's just hard! I've got about a stone to lose to get back to my fighting weight so thinking focusing on that would be a good idea to get in good health for when the time does come.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm broody too but waiting to see what happens with the pandemic. It's hard to wait, isn't it! Using the time to focus on health too

I am 100% in the same boat. My baby is 9 1/2 months old now and I'm taking the full 12 months of maternity leave.

I've got 21lbs to lose although recently I've mainly been focused on improving my aerobic fitness and core strength.

We can't even consider TTC until I'm back at work. And realistically it wont be until Jan 2021 at the earliest.

I know I want another, but I hated being pregnant. Even if we hadn't had a tonne of complications, being pregnant just doesn't suit me at all. I'm also not a huge fan of the newborn stage, it felt relentless for me because my DS was almost 7 weeks early. However since he's gotten a bit older and become interactive he is just the best little guy ever! I can't help but want another one.

I'm focusing on similar to you though - getting my health, fitness and weight back to a good place. But then I'm also going back to work in the hopes of being fast tracked into my next promotion. So ideally I'd like to get that all done and dusted before going on another maternity leave.
