@Alyosha it's definitely worth understanding when you ovulate. Taking your temp requires you to be very consistent with timings because all sorts of things can affect it. And it will only tell you when you've ovulated rather than when you're coming up to ovulation. Useful if you have a regular cycle because it'll help pinpoint ovulation but I would use OPKs to identify when you're about to ovulate. I have found the clear blue much more helpful than the strip tests.

Quick update: AF has arrived as expected with my usual cramping so no test required this cycle. Onto cycle 2 🤞🏻. My next AF is predicted to be 31st July so will stick with this lovely thread 😊.

Hi Ladies. Sorry I’m still catching up from the last few days. Not been on here as work has been MANIC!

Sad to say that AF arrived a short while ago so that’s me out for this cycle. Trying not to be too disappointed but it’s tough.

@krj608 I've had ewcm for 4 days now so it must be happening soon! We've done every other day so far since my first flashing smiley so fingers crossed will catch it. The lines on the CB ovulation kit are also getting darker even if the smile hasn't stopped flashing yet so that must be a good sign. Fingers crossed for us both!

I've ordered some FRER. I'll be 10dpo by the time they arrive so it's not that early 😐

@FoxtrotOscarPoppet Thanks, sorry about your disappointment too. Hopefully the next cycle will be ours. I think what makes it worse is that, as well as the disappointment not having a BFP, you also have to put up with the awful pain of AF.. It's like an additional kick in the teeth! At least we're all in it together xx

I've had a horrible taste in my mouth all day. I've had it before - when pregnant with my DD but also just as part of my cycle. It's grim and nothing masks it. Does anyone else get anything similar? It's not a metallic taste like people say they get during pregnancy, it's like my mouth is full of soap. Pregnant or not pregnant this is such a gross thing to have. It lasted well into the second trimester with my DD.

Ah that's shit @BuckleUp sorry for AF. I'm bloated, achey back and cranky so wouldn't be surprised if it's on it's way for me too!

Morning! 10dpo and feeling very much like AF is on the way. Other than the horrible taste in my mouth, I really haven't felt any symptoms, no cramping or anything this month. I was googling the horrible taste and whilst it is a common pregnancy symptom, it can also be caused by reflux which actually sounds like what I've had. Boooo!

@krj2608 that looks very close to peak. I'm struggling to manage to DTD regularly with 1 DD so good luck with 2!
