Working out how far along I am

On Monday , I got the news I never thought I'd get , im pregnant !!

But how do I work out how far I am ?

Nhs website says to use the date of my last period with my cycle length.
But my last period is now been considering as implantation bleeding
Do this count as a period or would it be a month before ?

I'm either 4 weeks or 8 weeks from my calculations

It could be either to be completely honest. If you go with the 8 week estimate for now, but then explain to your midwife at your booking in appointment that you're not sure if you're 4 or 8 weeks.

Then let your ultrasound tech know when you go in because if you measure at 8 weeks when you're expected to be 12 they might assume something has gone wrong, when actually it was potentially just that your dates were wrong in the first place.
