Ovulation strips help!!!

Hi ladies, I'm having a complete nightmare with these ovulation sticks. I've read that the test line is supposed to go darker than the control line to show a 'Peak' in the lh surge. Mine has shown something but it doesn't go darker but you can still see the fade in fade out. Has anyone had this and fell pregnant at all?

@domojowe do you have a picture of the OPK we can look at? I've attached a picture of mine with the LH peak from two different tests and they look completely different. Could just be the brand you've tried!

I suggest also using an app like femometer to track the levels with. The app will tell you when you've hit peak.

How long have you been tracking? are you testing often enough? when it goes darker you should up testing to 3-4 times/day potentially as the surge can be as short as 4h. So it's possible you've been missing it.

I now use a reusable saliva test, after years or not getting a peak on urine opks. Mine is called 'Maybe Baby', but there are many brands online. You let saliva dry on a little microscope thing, and the pattern indicates whether you are fertile or not.

This is my tracking for this month. Thoughts?

Based on the pics you definitely peaked on the 10th. You probably should have tested one more time and not stopped at 3pm in order to catch it - although arguably I might even have counted your 9am and 3pm sticks as peaks! So looks like you most likely ovulated on the 11th and are 1DPO today :)

Femometer or similar apps would really help you with this going forward! and they're free.

Ahhh that’s amazing ! It’s harder for my situation as I am in a gay relationship and we only had one syringe of frozen sperm left from. So we inserted it on the 10th! I’m praying we caught it!! ❤️
Thank you so much, you have made me feel very positive and not like I’ve wasted our last lot. (Sperm is so expensive when you have to buy it and freeze it using a nitrogen tank) 😂😂 xx

Best results with opk tests I had was testing at 2pm and 10pm...
