Hi all

I’m 25..almost 26 and my partner and I have been trying for a baby for a year now. I suffer from irregular periods so it’s been difficult to try and track when I’m ovulating (Flo app doesn’t work in my favour for this reason)

Now during lockdown I have been working full time as I am originally a nursery worker but our building is currently operating as a hub for primary aged children and some vulnerable children. This caused a lot of stress for me and I had what felt like 2 periods each in the months of April and May, some were with my normal period symptoms, some didn’t have anything except the odd days of bloating and occasional mood swings. I’m assuming it’s been stress because there was a lot of tears, anger and mental exhaustion from work at the start of lockdown.

However, according to my flo app this week I am due my period next week but I don’t know if this is good as normally I’d be early Having my period ie it normally would have come this week so could it be that I have actually missed my period and I am having pregnancy symptoms just now? (Tender/sore breasts, mild pain in uterus at one side but not dull achy pain like normal period pain, more sharp and it comes and goes throughout the day which isn’t my normal pms symptoms.

Has anyone had these symptoms and are in a similar situation and became pregnant? I know it’s maybe too early for me to take a test as I’m perhaps just due my period next week. I’m just very curious. Like I said previously, we have been trying for a year now and I’m just looking for a glimmer of hope.

Thank you.
