One step pregnancy tests? Anyone used these?

I’m just wondering how reliable these tests are? Do they give false positives?
I’ve used them for a few months and had absolute white negatives.
This month I used 1 early at 9dpo as I really believed I could be pregnant this month. I got what I believe to be a faint line (shown in pic) but by the evening and then the next day fmu I had negatives.
My AF is now late, still getting BFN ☹️ Maybe it was a chemical but Ive not had any bleeding? I have a FRER but don’t want to waste it as I don’t think I can possibly be pregnant after 4 BFN! (Same brand)
Absolutely gutted. And totally confused.
Anyone shed any light for me? I’m driving myself nuts!
Thank you!

Hi, I definitely see a line! I was just about to post about the One Step Pregancy Test strips actually because I've heard so many mixed reviews.
I swear by their ovulation tests though & find them really good, I get line progression with them leaving up to ovulation.
Could it possibly be because you did one test in the morning (more of a concentration of HCG in your wee) & it would be a lot less in the evening?
I've gone the opposite way! My tests were stark white this morning & afternoon but my evening test has a faint line 😑😩.
I've also ordered some FRER tests that should be here on Friday. Maybe wait until the morning & do another test?

Hi @mamajns
Yes Ive used the ovulation strips for a year and they’ve worked perfectly so I thought I could trust the HCG.
It is a line isn’t it not an evap?! I’m pretty sure it was a chemical but would so love to know one way or the other!
An evening line sounds like a good thing though! Hope you get some line progression on your next one! Good luck!
