Hello has anyone ever used Tesco pregnancy tests . The non digital ones. The ones that show a cross if you are pregnant . Do you no if they are bad for evaporation lines ?

My period is two days away . But I couldn't help myself taking a test and an extremely faint vertical blue line has appeared In the test window.

I'm obviously going to wait and test on the day my period is due I'm just curious as to whether they are known for faint blue lines as evaporated lines .

I have tried to take a picture to upload but my camera won't focus properly on the test to take a picture

If it is within the time period then it is more than likely positive. Pink dye tests are usually less likely to give a false result.

I used Tesco tests was pregnant both times.

I can see a very very faint line but best to get a pink dye test

Honestly I took two of these last month, both tests looked like yours & also posted on here & other ladies agreed I wasn't mad there was in fact a second line.
Two days later AF arrived, I was devastated. I would not use these tests because I must of had bad evap lines. I would say if the second line is as dark as the middle one then that's a good sign, either wise I wouldn't trust these tests.
I'm so sorry, I don't want to upset you or come across as negative. I just don't want you feeling how I did last month.
Fingers crossed for you ❤

There is a faint line there, did it appear within the time frame? I would see if ypu can get hold of a different type or wait a few days and retest to see if it gets stronger.

I had lines similar to that, but they didn't get stronger (similar faint lines on a boots test too) and AF arrived a few days later so I think it was a CP rather than it being a evap line. Good luck x

Thanks for the advice . I really appreciate it . I'm going to retest in a few days Smile

Tesco blue Cross are notorious for having a faint vertical.

Get a pink dye.

Couldn't help myself took another test today . This was from a chemist not Tesco . Couldn't get hold of a red dye one . This faint blue line seems slightly darker than yesterday .

I don't want to get my hopes up but fingers crossed
