Pregnacare conception

Has anyone actually fallen pregnant using pregnacare I know it doesn't increase fertility but I've seen a few reviews of people saying they fell pregnant after a month of using it!!

I fell pregnant before finishing my second box (have long cycles so would need more than one to cover the cycle) I've heard mixed reviews, people with normal length cycles might end up with longer cycles and people with long cycles it tends to help regulate them. I did get them because of the amazing reviews I saw on their website (before I joined MN)

This is my first month using pregnacare, just wanted to see if either of you experienced any side effects of taking them? From about 7 DPO I've been quite emotional, tender breasts, sore back, cramping, headaches all which I mistook for pregnancy symptoms as I usually only get some mild cramping before AF. Did an early/sensitive test on 17th and again this morning BFN.. I'm due AF tomorrow. Been reading some threads on here and hearing a mixed bag about it messing up people's cycles. Not sure if I should continue taking them

Any help would be appreciated as I'm quite new to TTC.

I conceived the first month I took pregnacare after trying for 8 months previously! Defo recommend them. My BFP didn't show up until I was 5 days late so the symptoms you are experiencing @Collie94 could be the real deal!

I used it and my cycles increased from 29/30 days to 34. After I stopped using it my cycles went back to normal

I took them and they messed up my cycles so decided to stop as it was harder to track ovulation. I think they get mixed reviews.

They really seem to affect different people in different ways. I started taking them a couple of months before starting ttc, and I'm pretty sure they both lengthened my cycle and made my PMS way worse - I had terrible moods before periods which I would never normally get (I still had the copper coil in, so definitely wasn't a potential chemical pregnancy or anything). I switched to Seven Seas and also tried Boots own both of which seemed to suit me better, although I don't think any of them helped me get pregnant! (Took 8 months)

I conceived first try taking pregna care with both my children

@Collie94 I don't think I got any side effects, my cycles were long and irregular before taking them and my first full cycle taking them I would have had a normal cycle.. Now 9+4 weeks pregnant

@Pol96 congratulations!! yeh I was pretty irregular before so seems to have regulated so that will make tracking easier. Just seems to make my PMS symptoms worse, but small price to pay to have regular periods. I think I'll keep taking them for the time being.

I'm six weeks' pregnant and conceived first month of trying whilst taking pregnacare his and hers.

Aren’t they just vitamins? I don’t see how they would cause changes to your cycle and side effects?

I also found that they made my cycle longer and they were making it much more difficult to track my cycle and figure out when I was ovulating. My cycles used to be 30 days and they ended up being 36 days long when taking the vitamins which wasn't much fun

Anyone with 35+ days cycle tried it and got BFP?

@Iloveoreos yes, I have pcos with very irregular cycles. I conceived within my first box of taking these. Unfortunately it ended with an ectopic pregnancy (unrelated) but I have started taking them again.

How long do your cycle lenghts vary ?

@Iloveoreos they vary. I didnt even have a period before I got pregnant either. My last period was 2 day bleed in Jan and I must have caught around April/May time. I've had a 5 day bleed on August but they say that's not a proper period after a ectopic. No sign of a period since!

Also concieved on my first month of using them, it was a strange cycle, different apps had different ovulation days based on bbt as my temp shift was so slow, also got a BFN at 10dpo. Didn't test again till I was a few days late for AF. Had my 12 week scan and baby is measuring ahead of both ovulation predictions (which would mean that BFN at 10dpowas at 12dpo maybe?) either way if it messed my cycle it worked! I also took DHA tablets with them, zita west ones.

Ladies anyone became itchy all over after taking these? I have no rash or dry skin but feel very itchy since taking these

I started taking these 3 days ago as they seemed to help me last time, and I have broke out in a rash on my hands, feet and a little on my legs today. Not sure if related, but now you've asked! Lol Could just be something viral though.
