BPN at 11DPO - has anyone ever went on to have a BFP after?

Hi, I’m 11DPO and got a BFN with FMU. I’ve been ttc for a year after a MMC. I’ve been tracking ovulation with OPKs and BBT. My BBT has been rising and showed an implantation dip (recorded on Femometer app), and I’ve had some possible early pregnancy symptoms. But still got a BFN :(

Has anyone went on to have a BFN after a negative test at 11DPO or am I likely out again this month? Any stories would help me with a reality check! Thanks!

Didn’t want to read and run - never had a BFP but if you google percentages, I think the most accurate first BFP is 14dpo so you’re still a few days out. Average implantation is 8-12dpo and then takes 3 days for HCG to rise to detectable so even at a quick implantation you’d only start to get results tomorrow I would say! Works the other way though... the symptoms you have aren’t likely pregnancy ones unless been in last day or so!

I've never been able to get a BFP before the date my period was due! I had negative tests early on with my pregnancies, but was able to get positive tests about 15 days after ovulation. Good luck!

I think lots of women do struggle to get a positive result so early. Especially if implantation occurs at the later end of the spectrum. You may not have even implanted yet at 11 DPO! Even when I experienced early symptoms, such as nausea before my period was due, I still couldn't get a positive test result. The recommendation is to wait til the day of your missed period (so the day after your period is due). Results are much more accurate then. Fingers crossed for you!

@LittleChicken11 the TWW is awful, only a few days left for you! I’ve just got to suspected 1DPO and I know this month is going to drag. Do you have a short cycle? I tend to find people who have shorter cycles take a bit longer to get a BFP as less time has happened ie testing 2 days before a missed period for someone with a 27 to a 33 day cycle, in theory if both implanted at same time, the 33 day person will have 6 times the HCG 2 days before theirs so don’t give to hope!

Yes I did, BFN on the Tuesday (i had nausea the day before so caved and decided to test) and I got a BFP on the Friday and my due date got moved 4 days earlier so it's possible I ovulated earlier than I thought.

Thanks everyone. I’ve managed to not test again (yet!) and will try to wait until Sat (14dpo) or Sun (AF is due). I usually have 28 days cycles and Femometer shows implantation dip at 9dpo. I saw this link on another thread which has good info on hcg levels for testing on different day, others might find it useful too.

Temping graph attached, looks like my BBT is starting to dip unfortunately but I’ll wait and see how it goes over the next few days!

I’m 16dpo now, AF 1 (or 2) days late but still getting BFNs. I am starting to get some spotting now so I’m expecting AF to start proper this evening :(
Good luck to getting yours @Jx0x0 I do think from the advice given above and reading other threads 11dpo is still early for BFP so you’ve still got time!

Any update OP? I had a BFN when I was one day late but then BFP when I was a week late.

I didn't get a BFP until CD35. Wasnt tracking ovulation that month so dunno how many dpo I was. Fingers crossed for you
