Hello and welcome!

I kinda wanted to make my own thread as I've been itching to POAS at only 7dpo 😒 I know I know... ridiculous right?

So need you lovely ladies to join in and keep each other distracted, share your experience, have a giggle/cry together and most importantly have each others support during BFNs and BFPs.

Please feel free to jot down your cycle/dpo info and when your AF is due so we can all keep a track of where we are!

This is also a thread where you are free to post any thoughts, poems, pictures, recipes, dreams and aspirations, the good the bad and the ugly 😝

As always stay safe and baby dust to you all!

Caramel x

Im joining although a little prematurely, im due to ovulate on Saturday so BDing every other night currently, AF will be due 28th June x

GreysLove · 11/06/2020 19:07

Hey ladies!

I have come over from another "AF due 15th thread" and I notice there's a few others that have moved to this thread - hi again!

TTC #1
Cycle #7 (#3 with OPK's - let my cycle settle post pill)
CD 25 with AF due Sat 20th
6/7dpo
(POAS this morning - BFN unsurprisingly so not feeling down)

It's so frustrating when your cycle changes unexpectedly, according to app AF due 20th, but only after an extra long cycle last month - 36 days - which was super frustrating after I thought my cycle had settled on 32 days after coming off the pill in Nov 2019. This month I wasn't sure when to start the OPK's, then ran out just as it was looking high, but maybe not quite peak so my guesstimate is that I'm currently around 7dpo.

My boobs, but in particular my right one has been very sore and achy since yesterday - possibly a sign as that's not normal for me? Also had to go for a nap this afternoon I was soo tired - that's one positive to working from home - lunch hour naps!

I only have one cheap test left, so I have ordered cb triple check and fr early check on amazon to arrive tomorrow - going to try really hard to hold off taking them for another week - 18th is my goal.

Sorry for the long first post, feels good to talk to others TTC. My best friend is 22 weeks with bby2, and sis-in-law is being induced today - excited for them but i'm sure my TTC (trying to conceive) chat will be boring lol.

Positive vibes to you all!!

X

Hello ladies, hope it's alright to join

Cycle #2(although only the 1st proper one since implant was taken out)

CD#22
9DPO
TTC#1
AF due 16th

Had what I think is spotting on 6DPO(sorry tmi)
I'm trying not to symptom spot but I can't help it! Really want to POAS again but don't want to be disappointed. I did one yesterday and it was a BFN.
I'm feeling very sick right now but like anxiety/nerves sick but have nothing to be anxious or nervous about!
We've not told anyone IRL that we're trying as I didn't want loads of questions! So this site is my only relief!

CaramelTart23 · 11/06/2020 19:21

Yayyyyy I'm so so soooo happy to see so many of you ladies on this thread. It honestly keeps my day going, reading your experiences and the fact that we can all relate to each other 😊

Big hello to all the joiners, I hope you know that it is perfectly OK to share/rant as you like. It's so much better than keeping it bottled up x

@NatJayne87 good luck with ovulation, I practically BD'ed every day since I came off AF but only recently put a pause as it's just so exhausting! Just remember to have fun and go with the flow 😄

@GreysLove Hello my darling, I felt the same with my last cycle... unexpectedly had a longer cycle and it did kinda get my hopes up. You are super earlyyy and at 7dpo I had no symptoms whatsoever!! It's great that you are experiencing something!

Hoping to see your journey on here so keep us updated x

CaramelTart23 · 11/06/2020 19:28

@BronzeSilverGold13 Hello lovely! I know it's frustrating and annoying when you hear 'try not to stress or just relax' but it's absolutely crucial for your body to feel the calmness around you, it makes implantation a lot easier a quicker x

Try a warm bubble bath (not piping hot.. for obvious reasons) or pick up a craft that you can put your energy into?

I found myself randomly gardening with my mother in law and I must say it's given me a new focus. It's hard during a time like this when we can't even go out to eat or go over to our friends/family without the added paranoia 😩

But finding a new focus can really help your body work and let nature do its thing!

6 dpo is veryyyyy early so I wouldn't worry at all!

But if you can't hold back on testing I'd say wait for fmu so that way you can chart up and analyse as the days go by x

@2020mission fingers crossed when you do test! Don’t be disheartened though if it a little early I was having quite strong symptoms.

@bluebubbles12 thank you ☺️ hoping to see lots more BFP on this thread soon!

Muffin0107 · 11/06/2020 19:35

Hi, it’s reassuring to have others understand this rollercoaster!
Cycle - 7 (1 miscarriage)
AF due on 14th June
I was trying to stay calm this cycle so I’m planning to not test until after the 14th!

CaramelTart23 · 11/06/2020 19:40

@Muffin0107 definitely is a rollercoaster! That's one way to put it 😩

Really sorry about your MC 😞... stay with us, we're all in this ride together x

🙏🙏 praying for you and wish you all the luck, it will be great to see BFPs over the next days and weeks x

I should be 11dpo on 14th but I think if I can hold it together I should be testing a day after you 🙈🙈🙈

How are you feeling? X

OP posts:
BronzeSilverGold13 · 11/06/2020 19:41

@CaramelTart23 thank you, I know 9DPO is still very early but it was so disappointing yesterday I don't know when to test again, part of me wants to wait for Tuesday to see if AF arrives and part of me wants to test every day until then haha. I have some cheap poundland strip tests so in theory I could test everyday haha.

I've just been learning to crochet so I'm focusing on that, I'm making a bunny rabbit for my friends birthday next week.

I know I'm not nervous about anything. I have a feeling it's a weird symptom as I really don't want to eat anything and certain smells make me feel even worse. I'm used to a nervous feeling as I work in the entertainment industry and when I'm nervous I usually want to eat every thing in sight especially chocolate, but I don't even fancy that at the moment. I've also had wicked back ache since 3DPO which I don't usually get with AF and if I do it's not until the day of AF.

Hopefully all good signs but I'm only one cycle 2 so won't be too hard on myself.

I wish I was more into the garden but I'm allergic to some plants so it's best I don't bother with that and leave DP to tend to the garden. I must admit I'm missing my friends and family.

Thank you for messaging me back it's nice to know there's some lovely people on here! 😊

Muffin0107 · 11/06/2020 19:47

@CaramelTart23 thanks. I’ve got some lights cramps and have been quite tired but for some reason I just don’t feel that hopeful this month even though we bd a lot this month! We’ll see, talking about it on here helps so I’m hoping we all get some good news this cycle xx

CaramelTart23 · 11/06/2020 19:59

@BronzeSilverGold13 I'm so with you on the weird symptoms. Everything I'm experiencing is not like my usual AF symptoms 😩 I'm like you where I get those a day before.. or sometimes literally on the day with no warning!

It's looking hopeful and positive and I can't wait to hear more of your updates as you are a day ahead of me so I can may be use you as my guide?

Of course no two women or cycles are the same but it does bring me some comfort. It's so much better than giving myself a head trauma trying to google every little thing or watch YouTube videos over and over again ughgh 😩

Haha I've always wanted to learn how to crochet... maybe I can crochet myself a huge stress ball 😂

It's nice basking in the garden, just me and nature ☺️ I have a hugeee apple tree (no fruits yet) that I sit by and sketch and it's the best feeling in the world 🥰

Ughg I am a lover of all things chocolate!! But hasn't really been my first thing to pick when I'm shopping these days.. come to think of it I'm not consuming as much coffee as I would do either?

I guess we just have to take each day as it comes and hope this cycle is ours 😃 x

OP posts:
BronzeSilverGold13 · 11/06/2020 20:31

@CaramelTart23 honestly I'm feeling so strange at the moment, ever since I started my first period at 11( tmi sorry) I've been extremely heavy like clots and all but it's always been on AF day and 5days after never during cycle but I had a bit of "spotting". I phrase it like that as it was more like coloured wee( it wasn't but it was just an organgy tissue) but it was dead on 6DPO which I googled and found out is roughly when implantation can occur .

I'm hoping they're all signs and I'm not imagining them haha.

Last month o could have sworn I was pregnant as I had all the symptoms but I felt fine otherwise. This month I feel different and I don't really know why!

Every woman is different but it may well give some indication. I've not dared to YouTube anything as I know I'll start to overthink everything haha

Btw crochet isn't that hard to learn I highly suggest it as it's almost like colouring in... once you get the hang of it you can zone out a bit haha

I hope the weather improves for you to be able to sit out in the garden soon.
I'm not consuming anything that I would normally eat, DP got a takeaway last night and tonight as I really didn't fancy cooking when everything smells awful... i didn't fancy anything last night but tonight I thought I'd treat myself to a cheesy garlic bread... well I had 3 slices and just left it, it didn't taste right to me but DP loved it.

runnerttc · 11/06/2020 20:38

@Mayhammonkey congratulations! 🥳

@Greyslove I know the feeling! My cycles fluctuated for so long, it makes it so hard to know when to test. I'm reeeally going to try hold out until 10DPO... omg Tuesday seems so far away 😱

GreysLove · 11/06/2020 21:11

@runnerttc it's soo annoying! Thought I was getting into a really easy to track 32 day cycle. Didn't get my hopes up last month when I was a good 6 days late since other than that I didn't have any symptoms at all. Did a test before AF eventually came the next day. This month I definitely feel different, the boob pain is like a constant ache with now the occasional shooting pain (more on the right - is that normal as a sign or would it be both?).

@CaramelTart23 Thank you for being so kind and welcoming, so nice to have a supportive place to vent my neuroses lol. My OH is very lets just see what happens, take it easy, chill out. I am trying to be chill but I have wanted this and been ready for a very long time. I was with my ex for 8 years and there was always a reason to hold off, get a job, finish phd, buy a house. In the end we weren't right for each other so I'm thankful that we never had a baby together. But me and my boyf have been together for 2 years and he's the love of my life and we want the same things and both feel that things will work out how they're meant to. Doesn't mean I can't give mother nature a helping hand... Wink tracking cycles and taking my pre-natals, eating well and exercising.

Anyway it's going to be a looong 9 days to AF, will aim to test in 7 days with some early detection tests to stop me going crazy!

runnerttc · 12/06/2020 07:40

@Greyslove, I've had the same thing many times unfortunately, I nearly lost my cycles completely last summer with my longest being 84 days! Its only been in the last few months things have settled which actually makes it harder because every month I feel like this is it.
No idea about aches or pains I'm afraid, I still have nothing whatsoever at 7DPO. I don't get any AF symptoms either really apart from cramps the first day she starts. So I don't have any warning signs apatt from my heart rate dropping 2-3 days before.
Temp is still high although down by 0.2 and heart rate is back up after a dip 2 days ago. I don't think I'm going to know anything until after the weekend... going to try hold out to test until Weds...

GreysLove · 12/06/2020 08:31

@runnerttc I suppose you just need to try take some solace in the fact that things are getting more regular so you know when to concentrate your "efforts" ;)

I'm normally just a cramp on day 1/2 of AF kind of person. Just hope that these new symptoms are a good sign and not just my cycle throwing me a curve ball again.

Good luck on the waiting it's soo hard- the days are dragging in and I can barely concentrate on work. Without lockdown would be so easy to fill my time over the weekend and distract myself.

Sending BFP hopes and wishes to all in the thread x

CaramelTart23 · 12/06/2020 12:29

@GreysLove Hey how are you feeling today? Awww well that is what we are here for! It's good to let things out rather than have it kept in... with most of us women here we aren't able to share our thoughts on a larger scale with family or friends. And it's always nice to meet new people on a similar boat 😊

Absolutely on the same page as you. I've always wanted a family but with Law school, training and masters, new house ect. I've always had it swept under the rug.

Now that my husband and I have all the time in the world, it's just frustrating because the past 6 months our lives have been revolves around making a baby and I feel bad for my husband to always get his hopes up every cycle so naturally have stopped having a conversation about it. If it happens it'll happen 😊 there's always another cycle to improve ourselves right?

Personal experience, preseed for me has been a godsend! X

OP posts:
CaramelTart23 · 12/06/2020 12:45

@BronzeSilverGold13 Hey lovely x

Yayyy seems very positive, I have also read on some medical reports online, implantation bleeding can be any shade of pink red brown etc. Every woman is different where some may get slight bleeding and others experience more of an AF type bleeding which is perfectly NORMAL too.

Im feeling a bit off today, have this heavy feeling that's sitting in the centre of my uterus. My bbs are finally getting tingly and tender. Which is unlike any PMS. I've always had no warning or a one day advance warning since 10 years old!

It's weird because every cycle in the past I've had 'pregnancy symptoms' before 6dpo but now it's a slow creeper at 9dpo

Ughgh why couldn't it be simple 😩

I think I might take up a new hobby, I've always enjoyed arts and craft back in school. Crocheting sounds like the perfect zen I'm looking for 😊 how are you getting on with the bunny?

I'm with you on that one, my favourite pasta dish yesterday didn't taste right, I can't really put my finger on it 🤨 even while it was baking in the oven had me gagging. Is it particular food you are off on? I think for me it's mainly savoury food than sweet x

OP posts:
GreysLove · 12/06/2020 12:50

@CaramelTart23 I'm good today boob pains are definitely less today not shooting pains and much less of an ache.

Still feeling a bit lethargic but I'm going to drag myself out a walk this afternoon as I missed my exercise yesterday and although it's a struggle to get started I do always feel better during and after.

Sis in law had a baby girl last night just before midnight- wonderful news so that's a nice distraction, just hoping it's me next!

How are you doing? Any signs yet?

@runnerttc how you doing today?

BronzeSilverGold13 · 12/06/2020 14:14

@CaramelTart23 hello,I POAS this morning and it's still BFN but I've still got time and I'm still using the cheap tests. My nips feel slightly itchy and a little darker than normal.

I honestly worried for years that I'd just get pregnant from having unprotected sex once! They never teach you that it could take ages!

I've attached the bunny progress I've done a head and body just got the arms, legs and ears to do now!

Honestly it's not one thing specifically that makes me feel ill, I love pasta when I'm not well but I just can't seem to face the idea of it. DP made some chicken strips in the air fryer and I pretty much had to leave the room. All I seem to want to eat is Cadbury's chocolate fingers.

Hope you're having a great day today, not feeling too unwell! xx

CaramelTart23 · 12/06/2020 14:20

@GreysLove Heyyy usually with the dip in temperature you will notice some or all of the symptoms easing off.. that's pretty normal. As you are now 7/8 dpo (still very early) you may continue to develop symptoms but as I say each conception/pregnancy and cycle is different... which doesn't help as in my case I'm always looking out for similar symptoms as last cycle but now realising all my cycles since I've been ttc have been fairly similar but unique in terms of experiencing one symptom but not the other etc.

Like I say you are pretty early my lovely ☺️

Congratulations to your sister in law 🎊🎉🎊🎉 I wish her all the best!!

I'm feeling a bit off... couldn't stomach a sausage bap today 😩

I have this heaviness in my uterus and tingly sore bbs, it's the first time today where I am getting symptoms where I'm not half heartedly imagining it lol. (9dpo) I'm sweating like it's already summer 😭 and deffo could do with more sleep ughgh

I pray we get our BFP soon!!

OP posts:
CaramelTart23 · 12/06/2020 22:00

@BronzeSilverGold13 Wowwww 👏🏻👏🏻 I can actually picture the bunny. Great choice of colour ☺️ can't wait to see the end result! X

I've been keeping myself busy with a bit of gardening... bloody foxes ate our strawberries 😒

Mmmm I love a good bolognese and pasta, Italian is hands down my favourite comfort food but recently been sick of the smell of fried onions and meat altogether 😩 it's annoying because I'm such a foodie and enjoy all kinds of dishes... I think my husband is starting to suspect the 'oddness'

Yessss indeed you are still very early and your symptoms sound very positive. I'm also experiencing the odd itchy tingles in my nips but they come and go, also this sinking feeling in the pit of my uterus... it's really hard to ignore.

I've been having hot flushes for a few days now but today has got to be the worst... here I am with barely any clothes on yet my in-laws have the heating on as they feel really cold. I don't know if they're crazy or I am loool 😆

😂😂 haha my teachers at school use to say getting pregnant only takes a second... little did I know 😩

Any plans for tonight? X

OP posts:
BronzeSilverGold13 · 12/06/2020 22:40

Thank you I've pretty much finished now, just need the eyes and nose to finish. She's a little lumpy but don't think it's too bad for a first attempt.

Aww no your poor garden. I hope they recover.
I love Italian food. Pasta has got to be my favourite go to food.

My nips are on and off itchy. I've not had any tummy feelings today other than not eating most of the day. Not even felt hungry much, all I've wanted again is chocolate fingers. I've had some serious hot flushes yesterday and today! Dp actually put the heating on as he said it was too cold, I'm sat in pj shorts and a vest top!

Honestly I think everything is getting on top of me at the moment. DPs sister announced she was expecting before lockdown and now DP step-sister has announced, they're both younger and weren't trying so whilst it's nice for them it sucks for us. Teachers were very adamant it only takes once and whilst it does for a lot clearly not for me!!

I'm currently watching a nerd film I've not seen in years. How are you today lovely? Xx

Muffin0107 · 13/06/2020 08:22

@BronzeSilverGold13 that’s lovely, my first attempt would have looked like road kill so you’ve done amazing!

I’ve woken up feeling very distracted today. AF is due tomorrow and I have all usual period symptoms, nothing that gives me hope for this month 😕 On the plus side we’re renovating the house so we’re very busy this weekend with jobs so I’m hoping it takes my mind off the disappointment.

@CaramelTart23 everything crossed for you that these symptoms are a good sign!
