Hello and welcome!

I kinda wanted to make my own thread as I've been itching to POAS at only 7dpo 😒 I know I know... ridiculous right?

So need you lovely ladies to join in and keep each other distracted, share your experience, have a giggle/cry together and most importantly have each others support during BFNs and BFPs.

Please feel free to jot down your cycle/dpo info and when your AF is due so we can all keep a track of where we are!

This is also a thread where you are free to post any thoughts, poems, pictures, recipes, dreams and aspirations, the good the bad and the ugly 😝

As always stay safe and baby dust to you all!

Caramel x

@Lauraistryingtoconceive I'm holding urine in for a couple of hours now so I will take another OPK test soon just to make sure I'm not having a peak!

Thinking about it... maybe it's just semen left over from yesterday 😆 forgetting once that's in there it eventually comes back out.

Sorry for posting that twice, it said the post failed the first time!

NatJayne87 · 03/07/2020 09:53

@2020mission it isnt uncommon for you to produce EWCM after implantation because your body gors straight in to building the mucus plug at the cervix to prevent infection getting in so a lot of woman will see this after implantation rather than a second peak of ovulation 🤞

@Hopingtobelucky I tested on Thursday and still got a VERY faint line (think the tests are faulty?!) So I've decided not to test again and just see if AF arrives! It should be tomorrow or Monday. I was finding it was too stressful waking up every morning and feeling hopeful for a darker line and then getting disappointed and spending the morning feeling down.
I'm getting loads of AF pains though so I don't think it's happened for me this month.

@2020mission I just ordered some flaxseed and pumpkin seeds and I'm looking forward to trying something new this next cycle :)

Hopingtobelucky · 05/07/2020 14:39

@Lauraistryingtoconceive it's such a rollercoaster isn't it. After after testing everyday after about 8DPO in previous months and having the disappointment last month I decided to take the pressure off and see so only texted once a couple of days before AF with a FRER and once that was negative just started to get prepared for the next cycle. Not sure if it will work but this month I'm just going to try and wait it out.
The CB digital monitor showed that I was ovulating a few days before I was expecting so I'm 6DPO so just hoping we DTD enough before hand.

@Lauraistryingtoconceive welcome to the seed cycling fun 😆 it's always good trying something new each cycle to keep motivated! I should know by next weekend whether I'll be joining you in August. Although you're not out until AF is here!

Lauraistryingtoconceive · 07/07/2020 14:59

Hello lovely ladies, just a little update to say that AF arrived yesterday - I'm ok, and feeling positive for July.
What didn't arrive is my Amazon prime delivery including my seeds - very annoying!
Please keep me updated with your results 🙏

2020mission · 07/07/2020 15:18

Sorry to hear that @Lauraistryingtoconceive but at least your in the new cycle and can get back to trying next week 👍🏼 I'm sure your seeds will arrive soon so you can start on those. Sometimes it's better to just be in the new cycle with AF, giving yourself a break from TTC and having some treats for those days, rather than stressing at the tail end of the 2WW 😆 so treat yourself!

Lauraistryingtoconceive · 07/07/2020 15:42

Thanks @2020mission x

SpringDream · 07/07/2020 19:18

Just read all your messages after a bit of a break from mumsnet. So we are now on cycle 3 of TTC #1. Currently CD 19. AF due 18th July.
This is the first month I have used OPKs and my peak was on CD 17/18 (a bit unexpected as I presumed having such a regular cycle I would ovulate earlier).

NatJayne87 · 08/07/2020 16:31

I think i may have missed this cycle 🤦‍♀️ I usually ovulate on day 12, well for one reason or another we haven't BDed the previous 2 evenings, last night i think my nips as a bit sensitive which happens after ovulation for me, but i discounted this as its too early for ovulation, but i get up this morning and have right side ache and lots of EWCM which is characteristic of ovulation for me, so we BD this morning and i also went and brought a clear blue ovulation test kit, which is a blank circle....so i may have caught us in time this morning but im not hopeful! How frustrating i havent ovulated early in over a year! Fingers crossed we caught it 🤞

Lauraistryingtoconceive · 08/07/2020 17:06

Fingers crossed for you @SpringDream and @NatJayne87!!
Does anyone else find they get anxiety the week before they are expected to ovulate? I obsessively worry about what we will be doing on those days. This month i should ovulate over next weekend and I'm already worrying what if my husband ends up going out and missing it. I've already started to say no to nice plans with my friends just in case I'm ovulating. I might not even ovulate until after the weekend! I feel like it can take control of your life a little bit too much sometimes but I don't know how to manage that.

NatJayne87 · 09/07/2020 08:18

@lauraistryingtoconceive yes it can take over your like, at least plans wise up until you've ovulated then it takes over in other ways. Im definitely more lax about it this month, which i probably shouldn't be, my OH works away Monday to Friday so ive been fortunate that the last 2 cycles hes been home on the weekend im due to ovulate and it was pure chance he was home yeaterday when i ovulated, but for example next month i would be due to ovulate mid week and unfortunately there is no guarantee he will be here, so i will be BDing as much as i can the weekend before just in case lol try and relax around it all, it will happen when its supossed to happen x
