Squint Eyes Assemble

My other thread didn't allow me to add these pictures so I've had to start again...

This is the faintest / 'dottiest' line I've ever seen. I even had to prize open the plastic casing.

It's a FRER using FMU and I'm 12 DPO. For context I had a strong and clear BFP at 11DPO with my first pregnancy so I'm feeling very strange about this result.

Is it an evap?

Looking at the photos here I realise I don't have much chance do I 😂

I can see something. Veeeery very faint lines though.
Try again tomorrow?

A slightly more in focus test. I've just tested again on a clear blue and a boots 'early' test. Both absolutely stark white. Can an evap look like this?!

I was on your other thread a few days ago so I'm really hopeful/excited for you in seeing this!

If you're literally just on the cusp of a perceivable level of HCG then I could potentially believe this is a positive with FMU but that the other two then showed negative.

I'm a little bit suspicious of the fact it's not a full line/even coloured line. But knowing how they work it seems so unlikely that you'd get that much colour from an evap.

I'd try not to get your hopes up too much but I'd 100% recommend a retest with FMU tomorrow or the day after. Ideally you'd wait 2 days so that you can hopefully see a clear line progression (or not if you're not pregnant), but I know how long the wait feels...

Yes I will be able to wait until tomorrow but certainly not the day after, I wish I could be that patient ;)

The fact I've not got a squinter on the other two tests does make me feel like it's an evap.

Sorry I don't see anything and it's only gotten darker because you've taken the test apart - once air get on the test strips of FRERs it always make an evap appear

Ah that's a shame! Maybe that's why it's showing up and the others aren't.

Seems to be a problem with us impatient POAS addicts and removing the plastic casing that can cause these evaps! Thanks for the heads up.

Stark white BFN on a FRER this morning. So yesterday's taunt was purely because I'd seen a trick of light and decided to open the plastic casing.
A new level of gutted this month 😩
