Question about chemical! Help please

I had a faint BFP on Friday at 9dpo later that day and next day I got BFN ☹️
I’ve been having mild cramps and sore boobs for a week and I still feel nausea like I haven’t eaten all day. And I’ve had no bleeding yet. I thought maybe my to negatives were wrong, so stupidly did another test just now of course it was a BFN.
Was this a chemical or not really a positive in the first place? AF is due tomorrow... I’m so confused about what my body is doing to me 😭

I'd say that's a negative test, you can sometimes see a line where the positive reading should be. Test again the day after AF is due if she hasn't shown her face.

Oh do you think it was negative I’ve done loads of the same brand before they’re always white as white when negative. I was convinced it was a BFP just the way I felt before and my Heart rate has been through the roof compared to a normal month.. so confused 😩

9 dpo is very early to test, you should wait until at least 14 dpo which should be tomorrow for you? Also test with your first urine of the day as that's when it's strongest. I used to wee in a cup first then dip just to make sure I got the tip completely wet. If you test later in the day your urine could be too weak to pick up the hormone this early.

If your period is due tomorrow and you test with your first wee of the day, the result should be clear if you are pregnant. Good luck.

@AliceV yes it is. They’re supposed to be NHS suppliers? I’m not sure if they’re actually any good now but I haven’t got another brand at the moment!

Really? Lots of people said definitely BFP? So confused. It’s faded slightly but still on the test now

Fingers crossed for you that you start to get stronger lines. I definitely see the bfp on your 9dpo test.
Chemicals really suck I was devastated with mine but got pregnant again the following month with one that stuck

I’m 13dpo and test was whiter than white, wondering now if I have dodgy tests. Not knowing if it was is making it worse I don’t know what to think now emotions have been one extreme to the other lately

It is a really tough time not knowing for definite either way. I’m hoping for positive news for you this month or very soon

Looks positive to me too but if you got a definite negative after then you may well have had a chemical. AF may be slightly delayed if that's the case. Take another test tomorrow and go from there. I hope it's good news for you

@MrsSam88 Ah ok, only asked because the same thing happened to me faint positive on a one step two days ago followed by a negative yesterday.

@AliceV oh really! How strange! When’s your AF due? Do you think it was a positive or an evap?

@TeddyBeans thank you that’s helpful no AF yet I though it might come early!
Still feel nauseas, on and off af cramps and I’m so bloated it’s ridiculous. If I hadn’t taken that first one I’d be convinced I was pregnant.

Hi @TeddyBeansGot my af yesterday 1 day late so you were right there! 😩 gutted but I knew it was coming, the day before I lost every symptom I had and my heart rate went down, so I guess my body just hadn’t realised I wasn’t pregnant. 🤞 maybe next month
