Little bit of background -
Cycle #3 TTC after MC in December
This month doing SMEP, tracking BBT and OV (CB advanced and Femometer strips), also drowning myself in grapefruit juice 😂 and will take Calc Fluor in TWW.

Ladies my sister in law had her 20 week scan today and found out she is having a boy I feel like I've been punched in the stomach really thought I would be feeling better about things but I feel really down now 😢.

@HE88 :( hugs :( must feel so raw. I’m dreading a family member announcing a new pregnancy

@2020wish thanks I've got 2 in the family both due in October I'm really hoping I'm pregnant by then as I worry how I will react. Xx

@MichT4 thanks lovely, yes I got blood test results today which confirmed big drop in HCG on the second bloods.

They also checked progesterone and said it was a normal level and blood count fine. I assume that means a chromosomal issue? Not really sure but hope to get some answers from GP on Friday. Going to ask to get my thyroid checked ... any other recommendations? X

@Diorissimo1985 I'm glad you've joined us! It's positive that bloods all came back okay. Hopefully there is nothing else that is wrong and they can reassure you for when you conceive again.

@HE88 awww I wish I could give you a hug! I know the feeling 😥 I just had a family member do a gender reveal the other day, we would have been due a few days apart in October. It really does feel like someone knocked your lights out. Try not to beat yourself up about not feeling more positive, you feel how you feel and you don't need to feel bad about that. I chose to not attend the reveal because I wasn't sure how I would react. When I was ready, I watched a video of it and was able to process in my own time. I've found that some days I feel better about things and then other days the smallest of things send me into a spiral. I've just come to accept that, and I try to just let myself feel whatever I need to feel In the moment. I was trying to downplay my emotions for so long, and it wasn't good for my mind. Since embracing my feelings (which was only last week mind you!) I feel so much lighter and I hope that in time you will too 💕 sending you so much love!

Sorry to hear that @HE88 I know how you feel. Just been told by one of my friends that she’s 16 weeks. To say it was crushing was an understatement 😞 hoping we all get our own good news soon x

Oh that's great! I've bought some grapefruit juice, but so far I've only had two or 3 glasses😂 I can't believe people drink this for no reason😂

Oh also, I was reading a fertility blog and it mentioned that your most fertile day is the last day that you see EWCM, so carry on until it stops💦 not sure how true that is, but wanted to give it a try and thought you may also find that info useful 😊

I've had a revelation because I love it! I can't believe I never had it before. My OH thinks its disgusting and my daughter (who normally loves to steal my drink) hates it too. So win win all round for me haha.

@VP91x I hate it!! Haha but I feel like maybe if I just carry on drinking it, I may grow to love it?😂 ah well lucky you, at least you don't have to worry about anybody finishing it at your house 😄

@VP91x yep and cooked DH's steak rare as well...if I'm not preggo this month I'm owed a proper steak during AF! Also was going to say see how the mood takes you but it seems the mood already took you lol
Hi @Diorissimo1985 and sorry to hear the news about your MC, we're all in this together. Can feel so lonely sometimes can't it. Hopefully you'll get some answers from your GP too.
@HE88 sorry you've had to hear that news and it's ok feeling down about it, sometimes things hit you harder than you expect. It's not easy when it's so close to home x can only second what @Rainbowhope11 said.
Why is the TWW sooooo long?! I'm feeling like a toddler in a car whinging 'are we there yet?'...such an impatient brat 🙄

I feel like I am missing out these days - stupid 3G in new house! I can’t wait for real internet next week so I can get back in the thread fully lol! I feel like I miss so much!

@MichT4 it’s a pain waiting for the peak - but def test more regularly now your opks are getting darker 👍🏻 My premom app says to test even after you think you have your peak so that it can really determine which was your peak - I got my peak cd 14 at 5:30pm, but also tested at 8:30pm that eve and it was falling again - so it meant that it could definitely say the 5:30pm was my peak (cue dtd lots without letting on to oh it was for reals 😂)

@HE88 - I’m sorry to hear about your sister in law!! It’s so hard isn’t it!! My friend is 2 weeks ahead of where I should have been, and to be fair she doesn’t text me too mich about it - bit she did send some pictures of her nursery and all the stuff she’d bought - and it literally took my breath away! I probably haven’t dealt woth it brilliantly but I kinda of reply minimally to the baby texts, but it’s also part of protecting yourself!

@2020wish I didn't get a single smiley face the whole month! Which is what's put me off testing this month.... I heard that fasting can throw your cycle off slightly but AF came bang on time so not too sure 🤷🏾‍♀️

@elliew818 definitely! It's a shame we can't go out to dinner otherwise going out for a steak dinner would be the perfect AF treat. Haha yeah, thought why not 👀😂
