Little bit of background -
Cycle #3 TTC after MC in December
This month doing SMEP, tracking BBT and OV (CB advanced and Femometer strips), also drowning myself in grapefruit juice 😂 and will take Calc Fluor in TWW.

I’m 36, ttc our first child. I had a mmc end of Feb, so am now of 4th cycle of trying. Currently 3dpo, took coQ10 and sevenseas conception vits, but after teying to do smep before and it stressing out my oh, we took a more chilled route (well - I didn’t tell hubby when my peak was so he was more relaxed lol!)

Does anyone know mich about the bbt? I have been using it to track ovulation for a while (I use natural cycles and had it originally as birth control). This morning my tempnwas 36.51 as soon as I woke up, I temp orally under my tongue. When I got to school I had my temp taken (we have a digital forehead thermometer) and it said I was 36.06 - I guess the forehead is less accurate, but I thought the temp would rise more when I was up and moving about! Or at least be closer to my bbt than it was! Weird! 🤷🏼‍♀️

You're going to laugh at me @VP91x but I'm just using the cheap ones that come with femometer but I just don't want to waste money on better tests, if I see a line I've got some CB to try on 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Bellabubble I think forehead temp is about 0.5 degree less than oral temp and I'm guessing it depends on the outdoor air aswell so I wouldn't worry about it xx

@SmileyT ahh I still have a bundle of those too! At least you have a CB as a back up if you fancy it. I'm hopeful for you ❤️

Thanks for your message @HE88. That’s good you were able to get treatment but yes must’ve been a shock. I think that’s the thing, you assume everything is still ok as there were no problems conceiving #1. I have briefly read up on secondary infertility. I didn’t even know it was a thing until about 6 months ago! I have everything crossed for you. X

@chloedancer897 thank you for your reply too. Sorry to hear about your MC. It’s obviously devastating to have a MC after any amount of time but for it to happen after trying for so long must be heartbreaking. Must be frustrating as well to have no reason for not conceiving. Fingers crossed for you too that you get another BFP soon. I think I will have to face the music if we get to the 2 year mark. I just don’t understand it all though as I fell pregnant 1st try with the baby I MC. I guess stress is a big factor because at first we just said we would see what happened and it worked straight away but now I am stressing over it every month. Oh well hopefully it’s true that good things come to those who wait! X

@Wishingfornumber2 we had no problems conceiving with our other two at all. But like you, I don't think there was any stress involved. It just happened. I never had to track ovulation or anything. It was all very straightforward.

@VP91x I just got my static smiley on cb! So what's interesting is, I've got a temp increase this morning (I've had a shitty sleep though) and my pregmate OPKs aren't as dark. So I'm interested to know whether CB has gotten it totally off, or the other OPKs are off. Either way, I think I've caught my FW thank goodness!

Are you using CB this month?

@VP91x also, I'm thinking of all the times I've relied Only on CB 😫😫

@Rainbowhope11 I basically just rely on CB because I could never get on with the cheaper ones. This was me static smiley day. I got my dark lines on the cheapie one too. This is the first time I've ever had a second line on it which is why I never use them. I'm just hoping the CB was right now 😭

@chloedancer897 fingers crossed for you! This is all so confusing sometimes 😫 I was about to stop dtd because I saw dark lines on my opk the other day and my cb kept flashing at me and I ran out of sticks. My new cb box arrived a few hours ago and I thought, hmm let me use a stick and just try my cb holder one more time and boom! A peak!

To re-introduce myself: I'm 30 TTC #1 for me & #2 for DH. Found out at my 12 week scan in March that I had an MMC - there had been no growth since week 7 and there was no heartbeat. Nothing happened for about 10 days (I chose to let my body do its thing). First cycle after MC we didn't really ttc as my hcg levels hadn't fully come down and I only got my bfn a week before AF came back which was bang on 4 weeks after MC started. 2nd cycle was Ramadan so wasn't DTD as we were tired mostly and I didn't ovulate, just had 17 days of blank circle on the CBD. This is the first month I'm ttc properly but haven't been tracking ov as the OPK was a nightmare last month. Going for a more relaxed approach.

Currently 8/9 dpo so testing on Monday. Have had really bad heartburn & nausea for the last few days - not sure why as it's Deffo too soon for it to be any symptom.

FX for us all & sending you all baby dust and lots of luuuuurrrrrve!

@Rainbowhope11 ahhh!! So CB gives you a static beforr you ovulate, so I would DTD for the next couple of days! Do you have more OPKs? They should get even darker now, realistically.

Also if you keep getting temp rises then your app will show you which say you OV'd! That's all so confusing isn't it Xx

@chloedancer897 did you keep testing with the cheapie OPKs after you got your static? Xx

BFN for me this morning at 11/12dpo as expected following a temp drop.... period will be here on Friday/ Saturday so onto the next cycle, think I'm going to get some evening primrose oil and a conception cup anything else people swear by? I don't feel like my egg is being fertilised so really want to focus on the first half of my cycle and see if we can get something happening 🤔

@VP91x thanks for tagging me in here. I'm 33, TTC #4 after losing twin girls #2&3 in September last year at 16 weeks. I'm on cd12 of my 7th cycle TTC. My cycles are still very irregular, last 2 have been 25 and 33 days, ovulating around cd20-24.

I've had quite a bit of EWCM past couple of days so I'm wondering if my body has thrown me complete curveball and ovulated about 10 days early. I'm going to try and do an opk this morning and see what I get. I may have missed it completely this month if this is the case, as wee just haven't dtd at all. I'm so shattered after being back in school since Monday last week.

@VP91x our cycles have been similar recently, how are you doing?

I get some EWCM on the run up to OV so you are probably good to still catch it. Are you temping?
