Little bit of background -
Cycle #3 TTC after MC in December
This month doing SMEP, tracking BBT and OV (CB advanced and Femometer strips), also drowning myself in grapefruit juice 😂 and will take Calc Fluor in TWW.

Helpful to hear your journey @Renna , thank you. I'm not far off you, mc 28th Feb. We got straight in to ttc first cycle but I didn't track in any way. It was 5 weeks long. 2nd cycle I used cheapies mid way through month and I didn't get a peak, so I either didn't ov, or I ov'd late as that cycle was, again, 5 weeks long. 3rd cycle I got a static smilie cd17 and cycle shortened to 32 days. Because I had seen my peak, I naively thought I would definitely catch and when af arrived (over the weekend just gone) I was like you on your April cycle, completely broken. Utterly devastated.
Like you, it took us 4 months to fall pregnant pre mc, however, we were totally chilled ttc and I didn't track, just timed dtd loosely around the middle of my cycle. I feel like my body needs a little more time to recover and I have convinced myself I may have a few more cycles now before I catch. Like you though, I am desperate to be.
I have everything crossed for us both xx

Sorry I havent been on here much this week. I'm finding it hard to settle back into an work routine.

My body is being so random, yet again. I've had EWCM since Monday. It is never like this. I've not done OPKs every day, need to do one tonight to see where we're at as the past few I've done have been very negative. Hoping the EWCM might mean that I'm ovulating earlier this cycle.

@Renna pup is so cute I'm glad she has been keeping you busy and distracted from everything. Yeah things are good with me 8dpo so just counting down the days until either a bfp or af. I'm getting the urge to test early though which I told myself I wouldn't do. Xx

@Jazper aw thanks for sharing your story . we are very similar! My cycles actually were shorter the first 2 after MC down to 26 days ish but my last cycle was 28 days which is what I was pre MC so hoping thats a good thing ...xx I wasnt too relaxed before MC when TTC either tbh I was doing opks but that was it but I was getting a bit stressed by put like 4th cycle when I fell. Fell over xmas when visiting in laws ... that's when I typically got my peak so thought well DTD but didnt think that would be our month xx massive fingers crossed for you xx

@Renna we are getting a Belgian Malinois, he willcbe a working dog so not quite the same as a proper pet if that makes sense as will be trained differently. But still, will be lovely to have a dog back in the house after losing both our dogs in the last couple of years xx

@HE88 hehe thanks lovely xx ah were cycle buddies I'm CD7 . Cycle lengths normally around 28/29 days.. how long are yours normally?
I'm deffo not testing before AF . Not good for me at all . Everyone sees it as a different way to cope though. But yeah if you're like me and dont find it helps mentally I'll keep telling you off if you want when you say you're tempted lmao xxxx 😂 and you can do same for me . But just dont think I'll even be tempted as made me feel so low last time seeing BFN xx

@VP91x aw cute and interesting!! Weve only had shelby 2 and half weeks and weve trained her a bit and seen a trainer . She is very clever but also a puppy ... so just wants to play too at times lol but we want her to be super behaved and well trained so putting lots of effort it whilst she is young .... but I also cuddle her like shes my baby too hehe . Xx aw and so sad losing them , I cant even imagine losing mine one day now I have her . Heartbreaking xx

@Renna I thought we were quite close in cycle days. I'm about 28/29 days too. Ha ha yes you can tell me off I don't like the disappointment either. Xx

@Jazper I keep trying to stay positive and the fact we weren't ttc before and caught I keep telling myself it will happen, it's only been two full cycles and if I catch before August it means that I'll be able to announce before my original due date which would be nice ☺️

@renna ahh your pupper is gorgeous!! This is Bella setrling in to her new surroundings - oh and I got kicked off the sofa we are borrowing from my parents onto the ikea poang armchairs we got - it’s like she was saying “no snuggle time - I need to sleep here with soace thank you very much!!”

@VP91x ooo working dogs have such a good mindset - you pooch will be licky to have you as their mummy! it always upsets me when people come to puppy classes with working dogs and try to have them as pet pets (I clearly felt like I wasn’t busy enough as I also teach puppy classes at my local dog training school 😂) Cocker spaniels are the most common one that people buy from working breeders, then try to keep them as domesticated pets. They always wonder why they are playing up etc and I have to explain how they need to be mentally stimulated, and that they aren’t being naughty for the sake of it bless them!!

@SmileyT I’m trying so hard to stay positive and upbeat but omg I feel like I am wishing the months away - when AF comes Inwish for the fertile week, then I wish away the tww, then back to AF, fertile week! I’m the same as you - I really want to be pregnant before my due date - especially as I’m finding it harder to cope with my friend who I was 2 weeks behind. She doesn’t text much baby related stuff to be fair to her, but seeing her get her stroller and seeing her bump in pics makes me sad - I thought it would get easier as time went on!

My username is one of my middle names but feel like I should have used my puppies name... Shelby .. haha xx she often sleeps like bella there too haha .. the pic attached she is under my work desk whilst I was working haha xx

@renna it is yeh!! She had a big butt as a pup and she wobbled about, so we used to call her Bella bubble 😂 Bless little shelby!! I like to think it’s a sign that they are super happy and feel sace with us to sleep like that xx

@Bellabubble I am generally the same with wishing my life away and that's why I keep trying to tell myself that it will happen in August so I'm not disappointed when it doesn't happen each month. It's hard but it's better than the rollercoaster that comes with convincing myself every month that it has happened which I did the first month and made me miserable. Think we are going to try at home insemination this month so let's see how we get on with that 🧐

@Ejb86 both my apps have me ovulating on CD17 but, last month it waa CD20 so I'm expecting some point this week like you too. All good, just about to go pee on some more sticks xx

Hi @VP91x what is your CB saying today? How are you feeling? And yep it's CD1 for me, putting this cycle at 28 days with another 13 day LP, my body may not be ready to conceive but I'm bloody regular. Haha definitely not too personal it's just DP suggested it and apparently it can increase odds, I'm not sure how this is true so I need to do more reading before ovulation 😂

@SmileyT ahh, well if it makes you feel any better I'm jealous of your clockwork cycle! I hope this is your lucky month❤️

Oh interesting he suggested it! I saw reviews on people using the ferti-lily for that and it seemed quite positive. When I looked on amazon there were some other, I think they were called softcups? They were disposable and the reviews were good too. Did you buy it in the end?

Yeah, I'm doing alright. Femometer is being a bell-end as always so I just ignore it now. Fertility Friend is fab though. Still flashing away on CB and negative on OPKs. Feeling fine about it though, I think because last month after so many days of flashy/negative OPKs it happened, I know its coming. Xx

@SmileyT AI idea very interesting not gonna lie some months I've thought to myself with all the DTD and when its felt pressured shall I say to DH just go do your thing and give me your sperm in a cup yeah ... ?? Haha less pressure ... think hed may be offended if I was the one to suggest that though lol . It must work as obvs same sex couples do it but I would also say DTD seems like better odds because you get the forceful ejaculatation? Xx

@VP91x what's up with femometer I've heard a few people saying recently they aren't a fan of it tbh, I've just upgraded my FF app, just because I wanted to look at more graphs. Probably completely unnecessary because the chart doesn't help me get pregnant 😂 and yeah been looking at putting the semen in the cup then inserting the cup but I'm also thinking that this may completely take the romance out of things and not sure whether 3 months in its a bit much 🤦🏾‍♀️ glad you're not stressing, like you say it happened last month later than expected but still happened so no point panicking as you know it'll come xx

@Renna yeah I think sex must be better but DP was saying that because you put it straight up into cervix and then have the cup so you get no leakage it was better, I'm very on the fence. I have a feeling that the pressure is getting to him and he thinks it'll reduce some of it, I dunno xx
