Getting hopes up

Hi everyone, basically me and my partner are using the what will be will be approach. I'd find it far to stressful to say I'm TTC haha.
Anyway I have very regular 26 day cycles and judging by the app we DTD plenty around expected ovulation.

After around 5 or 6 days I got 2 huge stabbing pains at work up into my vagina which actually made me shout out.
A couple of days later one eye went completely blurred in the staff room for a good 20 mins which lead to a killer migraine. I have never experienced the blurred vision before which did make me think.
Since then I have had a huge apetite (actually woke up one night at 2am for toast and cookies) I have felt extremely exhausted.
We had intercourse last week and I bled a small amount on the tissue for the first time. I have also had awful lower back ache and period like cramps for a week. I have felt like I'm going to come on for a week now.

So there is alot happening this cycle that I have never experienced and just wanted opinions. I got my hopes up once before which is why I havent tested yet.
I'm currently CD 27 so one day late.

I forgot to add I have been up 3 or 4 times a night to pee and have very tender breast. If anything I feel it can't be because I have so many symptoms.

I would test if you are late and then continue to test every couple of days if AF keeps not showing (bearing in mind the first couple can be negative even if you are pregnant). The stabby pains could have been implantation.

Bear in mind that it could be a yes or a no - stress throws off cycles too, as does weight loss or gain and a bunch of other things.

I would however consider approaching the GP about the blurred vision and migraine as it would concern me.

Thank you very much for the advice, this is all new to me.
I have suffered migraines for a long time however this is the first time it's ever effected my vision in this way. I normally get black spots but this was more a wierd blur x

Hi @Summerrp - I hope you'll find the boards here useful. In general, your best shot at getting pregnant is to have sex every 2 days or so, anytime you arent on a period. After a missed period, pregnancy positives may take a week or so further to show so keep testing if your period never comes. You can also get cheap ovulation testing sticks to see if you are ovulating when the app predicts.

Thank you for the advice. To be honest the only reason I havent tested is because I really dont want the let down even though all symptoms are saying I am.

I am getting alot of yellow tinged CM on tissue today. Not sure what this could mean

Hi! Sorry I can't give advice as I'm in very early days of the TTC journey! But my fingers are tightly crossed for you!! The symptom spotting drives you crazy!! Maybe give yourself another few days and then test Smile

Aw thank you, I wish you all the luck in the world 😊 It really does drive you mad, a couple of months back I almost convinced myself I was pregnant and was very disappointed.
That's why I am trying not to get hopes up again. It's my Birthday the end of the week so I may wait until then and do a test if Af doesnt arrive. What a bday present

Still no AF, I think I will have to go and buy a test today if I can. Feeling nervous
