Luteal Phase

I recently came of my pill to start trying to conceive and for the past two cycles I have had a short luteal phase of 8 days. I have been on the pill since I was 16 and I am now 25 so I am just wondering if anyone has any similar situations of there luteal phase being short.

Yes, after coming off microgynon. Was told to give it 6 months for my hormones to regulate themselves so hopefully will settle for you

Yes mine has been on the shorter side. I came off the pill in October and have had luteal phase varying from 9-12 days, as the months have gone on, it’s steadily been at 11 days. So give it time, it may change naturally. How long have you been off the pill?
Give it 6 months if you haven’t already and after that maybe try a supplement called Agnus Castus, it can help with lengthening your LP. There’s several threads on here about a short LP if you need more advice about it all x

I was on the pill for almost 9 years and never had a break so never even knew this luteal phase existed! Thank you for your advise it’s really helped me out :)
