Hi I’m new, I don’t know how to add pics. I think I might have had a chemical pregnancy in May but no proof as I didn’t take a test until it was too late.

Anyway May’s period was very off it was late, I was in pain for over a week before it finally came and it was full of blood cloths. So maybe it’s thrown this months off too?

Anyway I thought I was going to be more careful this month. I normally get period pain for 6-7 days before my period is due, it’s my reminder. I had pain about 7 days ago (CD23) and none since which is unusual. Anyway period is not late yet as it’s only due today but because of thinking I had a chemical last month I bought tests last month and decided to use them today. And I have no idea what it means, is it an evap line? I’ll try again tomorrow morning but so confused about what it means right now

I’ve been told before that I can’t have kids because my progesterone levels are too low so I’m afraid it might end in another chemical pregnancy. The difference I guess is the no pain this month. That said I’m sure we were more careful this month because I was so so afraid of another chemical so I’m pretty confused. That’s just a cheap test would it be worth using the Clearblue I have now or waiting a few days?

I've been told the same about my levels. I had a CP last month and it's shit. It's made even more shit by there being nothing you can do but sit and wait it out....
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.x
Perhaps retest in a few days?

Thank you, I will save the Clearblue for a few days. Just realised my boobs aren’t sore either which is another sign my periods due, they get so painful to touch. Trying to conceive with low progesterone levels and the chemical pregnancies was so shit I actually gave up ttc 3 years ago when it took a toll on the relationship, so it’s amazing if I am now.

The only times my boobs weren't sore were when I was successfully pregnant (years ago). Everything crossed :)

Out of interest - did you ever see a specialist? Did they suggest anything to increase the progesterone levels?

After the hospital tests came back the GP just told me to come for IVF when I wanted to have a child, wrote on my notes that I couldn’t conceive naturally and that I shouldn’t be made to wait 6 months. I did start ttc around that time but was never serious enough or brave enough I guess to try IVF.

I've bitten the bullet and booked a fertility clinic appointment

@AliceVe thanks. I'm sure they will say IVF is the only option but it's such a huge outlay for such poor odds. Wonder if I should have a nice holiday and a dog instead Grin
