Haha god you're good at persuading @SmileyT 😂 I probably will tbh cos it's just on my mind more and more now that the days are closing in lol!
Gonna take a look at those affirmations too, could do with saying some!

Mine are 5 days long @JustMouse with day 5 being really light. I don't think 2 is within the normal range so you should see your gp and see what they say. I believe normal range is 3-7 days.

Mococo1 · 09/06/2020 18:26

@catherinettc I really hope the blood tests show something that's progressing for you hun♥️

@justmouse mine are around 5 days long start off light/medium then day 2heavy ithen it goes medium and becomes lighter after that day 5/6 is usually just spotting. Everyone's body is different though and I know there can be huge variations.

My periods were still 5 days long on contraception but a bit lighter if that helps!

Sarah1253 · 09/06/2020 18:31

Hi ladies I was hoping someone could help. I am going crazy symptom spotting, I’m 13dpo and af due tomorrow.
I tested 10dpo, 11dpo and 12dpo all bfn. (All clear blue)
I tested today with a cheap Asda test and I think either my eyes are playing tricks on me, or there is a faint evap line or could it possibly be a faint positive?!
Please can I have your thoughts? X

I can see a line @Sarah1253!! But I have no experience of evaps. It looks like a faint second line and I didn't even need to click into any of the pics to see! How exciting!!

lucyrp · 09/06/2020 18:36

@Sarah1253 I can see a line without even clicking on the pics !

sjones2588 · 09/06/2020 18:37

@sarah1253 thats defo a BFP! Congratulations 🎊

Bear127 · 09/06/2020 18:41

@Sarah1253 I can see a line but I have no idea about evap lines? Could you try again in a couple of days or try with an FRER?

JustMouse · 09/06/2020 18:48

@SarahTTC2020 - You explained that a little better than I did, if you left it on for 24 hours. Then the next day pretty much a panty liner and by the evening its just spotting.

It's so hard, because part of me wants to tell them but I don't take my private life to work. It stays at the door, the joys of working within in a school, sometimes the staff are more like children than adults.

@notyetamumbuttrying - I do have a blood test form to get my Vit D, B12 and thyroid checked but i've been putting it off. Maybe I need to phone tomorrow and see if I can get that sorted.

@Mococo1 - What you describe is how I used to be, but it has changed alot since last summer and i'm now wondering why the change.

@Sarah1253 - I can see it as well.

Franklydear · 09/06/2020 18:52

@justmouse mine are the same,... They used to be long, heavy and painful before the pill, so much that dh remembers

SmileyT · 09/06/2020 18:58

@Bear127 I'm actually feeling good, will be testing tomorrow and although I'm pretty sure it'll be negative I think I will feel less anxious once I get the answer, I know 11dpo is early but I'll just accept the result and then if I get a surprise late BFP then that's great... I've moved you on the list to the 13th 🙌🏾

@sjones2588 hopefully the boobs are a good sign I never get any boob soreness even though I spend half the TWW squeezing my nipples to see if they are sensitive 😂

@JustMouse my periods are horrific, they only last 3 days, one medium day then one ridiculously heavy day (like I can't sleep for 8hrs as I'd drench my bed even with a super tampon and a night pad on 😩) been like this ever since I had the implant about 10years ago I think. I'd much prefer a lighter flow it can be awful if I'm in meetings and can feel like I'm just pouring out x

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah let's just get out of the way 😂

@Sarah1253 can definitely see a line, has it got colour in real life, definitely get an amazon next day delivery in and do a test tomorrow, or just go to the shop 👌🏾

Thanks for replies ladies.
@notyetamumbuttrying I'm an English teacher so reading is my life 😂 but I'm reading Harry Potter again as I find that calming 🤓 love a bath! But paranoid about it around implantation though, I know that's silly.
@Mococo1 ooh planning hols is a good one!
@SmileyT thanks! I love a bit of meditation/ yoga. Good luck for tomorrow!

@JustMouse mine are similar since coming off pill. One heavy day then a few light.

@Sarah1253 line! Keep testing with FR :)

DontGoJasonWaterfalls · 09/06/2020 19:05

Think I'm actually ovulating today. AF due on the 21st. Is 12 days a decent luteal phase length?

watermelonwizard · 09/06/2020 19:10

@Sarah1253 looks like a positive to me!! How exciting!

watermelonwizard · 09/06/2020 19:11

@DontGoJasonWaterfalls yes 12 is fine. Any less than 10 is considered short ! 12-14 normal x

lucyrp · 09/06/2020 19:14

How many BFPs have we got now ?? I've lost track!

Vil10 · 09/06/2020 19:15

@Sarah1253 I can see a line!!!

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/06/2020 19:16

Yeah good idea @JustMouse best of luck!
Ok deal @SmileyT 🙈but holding you responsible for my bad mood if it's bfn haha 🤣 joking of course!
I can understand the paranoia @Newbie0818 I don't tend to have baths myself as I'm a morning shower kinda girl but might start having them during fw. That can be nearly as stressful as tww sometimes lol!

Sarah1253 · 09/06/2020 19:23

Thank you so much for your responses ladies @notyetamumbuttrying @lucyrp @sjones2588 @Bear127 @JustMouse @SmileyT @Newbie0818 @watermelonwizard @Vil10

I’m trying to be hopeful but also not get overly excited so I’ve not mentioned it to the hubby.

I will test again tomorrow and keep you posted.

Has anyone had experiences with clear blue tests showing negative, or not being reliable? X

notyetamumbuttrying · 09/06/2020 19:34

Eek how do you keep from not exploding @Sarah1253? I'd be screaming lol! Can understand the caution mind you so well done for being so sensible.
No experience my end, but don't doubt what you and everyone else sees! 🤗

KateColx · 09/06/2020 19:35

@SmileyT you don't have to say sorry for ranting, that's exactly what we're here for ☺️ glad you told her what you're going through and she was supportive. It is strange actually, I feel like telling my friends would add so much pressure but happy to tell you guys absolutely everything.

@blodyn91 don't be sorry, it's difficult to keep up on here! I always ask everyone the same questions haha. It's the advanced tests so they predict when you're about to ovulate, so tbf it could have been the day after or day after that I think? Im so torn between feeling secretly hopeful and being realistic 😂 where abouts are you in your cycle? Are you testing soon?

@Catherinettc keeping everything crossed for you tomorrow 💕

Catherinettc · 09/06/2020 19:37

@Bear127 no need to be sorry. This bus is so fast its hard to keep up 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂😂 xx

Great bunch though for keeping morale up so doesn't seem as hard xx

Juno231 · 09/06/2020 19:40

@JustMouse I have the same kind of periods and there are other on here with similar. One of them had their bfp today so I don't think we need to overly worry. If you want to thicken your lining though I think you're meant to be drinking pomegranate juice x

Newbie0818 · 09/06/2020 19:41

I'm slightly terrified now as my cervix is really low and open. But I'm only 3dpo? Gah!

sjones2588 · 09/06/2020 19:56

@sarah1523

I have clear blue ready to test so hope not?! I used a digital when i found out was pregnant with my daughter and it worked well, but that was almost 5 years ago now, they may have redesigned them?
Deffo get hubby to test with you in the morning. Be lovely to experience togetehr x

Mococo1 · 09/06/2020 20:00

@sarah1253 I see a line!! I have no experience with evaps so all I can say is...test tomorrow and il keep my fingers crossed for you the line is more visible and darker! Eeeek! Excited to see what tomorrow brings for you ♥️
