@SmileyT well I'd got up at 6am to do by BBT and it was slightly lower than the day before so I thought ooh I must be out and very nearly didn't test, but I'd laid it all out the night before and OH was awake so thought fuck it.

Dipped it In the wee and then set a timer on our phone for 3 mins and got back in bed! The whole time we lay there I was like I know it's negative etc and was planning my wine and brownies tonight to cheer me up so when I went in and saw the line I literally just burst into tears and OH welled up and we both must have checked the test 1000 times to make sure a line meant positive not negative! Now we're both just walking round in a daze! Elated but at the same time terrified! Xxx

@lucyrp no don't worry , I'd worry anyway 😂 I'm loving how everyone is using the term 'going all Lucy' on their OH 😂😂 I cant stand the sight of mine atm, he hasn't done anything wrong I'm just hormonal and touchy 😂 I feel like the TTC journey is just women and that men have no fucking clue. He waltzes in after a day of work, where I've spent the day googling everything under the sun and shoving a finger inside myself a million times a day and it hasn't crossed his mind. God I'm so bitter 🤣

Also my cousin named her son the same bame as my brother- can't remember who to tag 🙈 but we are a big but close family and its totally fine.

@blodyn91 so I took 1 evening primrose oil from 1st day of my period up until my peak LH surge and then from then the pineapple core!

I used one pineapple over 5 days so basically just chopped it into 5 segments and ate it all (obvs not the skin 😂)

As for names we both loveee Hallie Brooke, Harper Grace or Emelia Brooke, but Hallie is the preferred one, and for boys I love Harry but I don't think I could have a Harry and Hallie if I had a girl and boy, so either Charlie James, Charlie Hudson or Harry Hudson, these aren't double barrel first names by the way they would just be their middle name!!

@blodyn91 yes I did as I've had the mirena coil for 8 years so wanted to see when my body got back to normal and ovulated. Was so happy when I had my static smile lol.

Evening primrose oil takers, do you start to take it CD1 or after AF has finished?

@Bear127 @Pixielou16 I've been googling and I'm going to try Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Vitamin E to potentially lengthen luteal phase. I mean they can't do any harm! Mine was 10/11 days this time.

I had another big drop in temp this morning and it's now in line with ovulation temp. I continued tempting after ovulation this month but seeing my temp continue to rise, I kind of got my hopes up. So I won't be doing that next month.

I think it will be gin, chocolate and stuff the diet once AF is here.

I will try and catch up again at lunchtime.

@watermelonwizard "going all Lucy" seems to be trending😂 I'm so hormonal! Last night I came to bed and cried for an hour or so to OH because I was trying to think of ways I could be a better mum and then saying I was rubbish🙈 he was like why are you crying and I was like I don't know 😂

@lucyrp omg not even lying I did the exact same thing to OH the other night. Just started crying saying i'm a bad mum 😩 I have permanent mum guilt as I work full time, even though I'm home with him now I'm still at my laptop all day just giving him snacks to keep him quiet . Growing up my mum was always there to pick us up from school etc but I never get to pick my DS up and it breaks my heart! I think after coronavirus it will change as it's proven I can do some of my work from home. Hormones!!!! Hope you're ok!

She even told me that she just went off her app as when she was ovulating and only used the opks when she thought she was ovulating, she said when she googled it and it mentioned peak she just ignored it because she didn't get it and just had sex whenever so got a positive!! I felt like saying bloody hell here I am making seed smoothies, folic acid daily, Brazil nuts, pineapple😒

Ladies I do feel that even for us that haven't been successful this month it's reassuring and nice to know it's not just us don't you think and that some of us are carrying on together TTC? I think it makes it less of a big deal knowing other ladies are in the exact same boat? X

I cried so much😂🙈I couldn't get to sleep until like half 11 and we were in bed from 10 o clock😩 I'm the same I hardly ever get to pick him up from school I can drop him off during winter as we open later at work so I can do that but I don't get to pick him up although I have days off in the week sometimes and able to do it then. My mum was always at home with me and can never remember her not being there 🙈 I also worry I don't play with him that much and palm him off on the tv too much 😩

@TTCgee sounds similar to me. I was completely regular and normal before the pill, but 11 years on it and everything seems to have gone tits up. And bloody congratulations on the BFP!! That's such a dark line!! 🎉🎉 I've been doing everything you listed apart from pineapple 🤞🏼
