AF pains from 7dpo every cycle?

Hi all , I’ve been keeping notes and every cycle not pg I’ve had period pains start from around 7dpo and last all day every day until AF. My go doesn’t think it’s related to progesterone . Sometimes I’ve got it as early as 3dpo . Anyone know why it happens or experience this? It’s depressing as I’m sure AF is on the way as it happens every month .Unfortunately, although I had AF aches In my pregnancies (1 dd and 2 Mmc) I’m pretty sure it was a couple of days before AF and not this early xx

Absolutely no idea why it happens so doubt I can help much but I get the same thing. AF cramps within a couple of days of ovulation. Only time I didn't get it was last cycle and I got a BFP (ended in miscarriage). Think I'm about 3/4DPO and haven't got any symptoms yet but would expect them soon unless I'm lucky enough to get a BFP again.

Thanks for replying Applepie , I feel like the only one getting it ! I’m pretty sure my last pregnancy I didn’t have these pains but can’t be 100 percent sure. I wish I wrote all my symptoms the actual times I have fallen pregnant 😖
I’m sorry about your mc , they are awful aren’t they . Mine were in August and jan . Heartbreaking x
I did have a scan and she picked up I had mild Adenomyosis, it’s cells growing in the uterus , which thickens the wall . I don’t know if that has something to do with it .
It’s just weird , how can your body decide you’re not pregnant and you get AF cramps so soon as a few days after ovulation. It feels like the body is giving up straight away ! X

Ps I hope your lack of pains means bfp coming 🤞

Hi Applepie , I’ve been doing a lot of reading on this . Apparently, after ovulation the egg breaks down Within 2 days if not fertilised and this can lead to drop in progesterone and oestrogen, and if your sensitive to this drop you’ll feel period pains ( and other pms symptoms) a week or so before AF. I get this every cycle not pregnant . Depressingly I now know by dpo 7 when I’m out! At least I’m saving the frers though
