Hi ladies, I'm trying to work out DPO any feedback would be helpful.

Bit of a background; I'm currently on cycle #6

Last day of first period was 20th May and lasted for 5 days.

I have been testing my ovulation with OPKs

As predicted by Flo my peak was around 9pm CD14 and the surge continued until around morning of CD16

From that point on OPKs got fainter so I have now stopped testing with last test being today (cd17) at 1pm.

I need some clarity on when it then becomes DPO? Do I start from CD14 or when the surge ended at CD16?

Please help???

Thank you and baby dust to all x

Hey! I would count CD17 as 1dpo, you generally ovulate within 24 hours of your first positive opk, so I would say you ovulated sometime on CD16! Good luck to you!!!!!! X

@CaramelTart23 you must be shattered 😂

It's from your first positive opk. Some women can have a couple of days of positives but you should go from the first one, so in your case cycle day 14 is your first positive opk, most women ovulate around 24 hours after so I would take it from cycle day 15. The more you do them you will start to see a pattern. Look out for other signs of ovulation too

Hi @carameltart23
I had the same thing this month (also on cycle #6). My surge was 31st May - 2nd June, so Im counting from 1st.
Since your first positive was at night, your peak was probably on CD15.
Sending you lots of baby dust x

Thank you ladies so much!! Gahhh this is why I love this site 😆

@AnxiousAnnie86 oh lord shattered isn't the word hahaha but hubby has been loving it

@cosmo30 and @30andTTC1 Thank youuuu it's been an emotional journey and I'm hoping we all get our sticky bean.

Keep me updated on your DPO's as I love to hear experiences from other women.

I've been having cramps last night, usually when I'm ovulating I cramp but it's a come and go situation and very dull.

However last night it felt more like twinging and more on my right side.

Is this normal?

Yes sounds like ovulation pains especially as it's one sided. Af arrived 3 days ago so I'm out this cycle. Good luck! Keep us updated
