Hi Ladies,

Need your thoughts, took a FRER on Wednesday and got a BFP and was overjoyed but since then my lines aren't getting darker. Can you let me know your experience please?

I don't think mine got particularly dark this pregnancy....I've attached a pic of my first three - the first midnight and the next 12pm....then the next morning.....not much difference on mine. Yours look darker than mine were!

Thanks @niki26! I think it's because I'm at least 17dpo today and I feel like it should be darker. Have attached the latest but I'm still getting period pains

Hey op, the hormone doubles every 48-72 hours so you wanna compare 3/6 to 5/6 or 4/6 to 6/6 and if you do that there is line progression. That said, lots of things affect tests such as the time you pee, how strong it is etc so line progression isn't always reliable. Also...cramps are really common in the first few weeks - there's a lot going on in there, stretching etc 🙂 x

I don't exactly know what dpo I was (typical it's the one month I didn't track my ovulation!) but looking at previous cycles I think I was 18 dpo on that last test I posted.... and I had cramps a lot in the early days! Even the aching in the tops of my thighs, like I was getting my period!

I still occasionally get them!

Fingers crossed for you x

Hi All, FYI.. I did end up having a miscarriage over a week later even though my lines got darker. Hope this helps anyone worrying about their lines in future.
