Wondering if there are any other MNetters out there who are disabled/have a disability/have a long-term health condition etc. who wanted a thread to chat and share thoughts, ideas, tips etc as we embark on TTC??

I've used the phrase 'wobbly' as it's a tongue in cheek way I describe myself but I'm not limiting us to those with physical issues.

I'll introduce myself - I'm FridaKFangirl, I'm 38, live with DH and am on CD10 of Cycle 1 TTC #1. I've had left hemiplegia (a type of cerebral palsy) since birth. Basically my left side doesn't have as much function as my right. Not a wheelchair user, but am fairly wobbly when I walk and can't go far. Most of the things I need a workaround for to do with fine motor function, balance etc. I also use way more energy than non-disabled/able-bodied people so I do wear out quicker. It also means I am more susceptible to anxiety (joy!)

There shouldn't be any Hemi-related issues for TTC - but who knows fingers crossed it happens for us

Things I'm thinking about pregnancy/TTC/Birth/Parenting etc...
*Will my energy & fatigue get me through birth?
*If I have to opt for a C-sec will they be able to inject me without me moving? (seen some ladies with CP lie down on their side)
*What tips & tricks are there for dealing with a newborn
*How will my wonderful-but-wonky body deal with all the changes of pregancy...

Obviously not expecting answers, but wanted to start the conversation - Anyone out there??

Should also say, anyone further along in the journey is also welcome! :)
