New thread for those who were on the May/June thread and didn’t get a BFP, think we’re up to 14 people with a BFP 😍

Anyone who will be testing on above dates welcome, I’ll create a list of usernames and testing date and we will then support each other through the TWW, symptom spotting brain ache and AF arriving or celebrating a BFP. Great if everyone could give a little info about them too!

I’m 30, boyfriend is 27. TTC #1 Cycle 3. Tried SMEP last month and using OPK’s. Not even a hint of pregnancy yet for me but hoping for some baby dust my way this month!

Bit of background -
29. This will be baby number two and cycle #3 TTC after having a MC in December. I didn't get AF until Feb so had a long wait and my cycles are finally settling down now.

On CD6 now, so will be testing 30th June (maybe a couple of days before as I am impatient).

Following SMEP this month, alongside tracking ovulation with ICs and BBT. Drinking grapefruit juice and will use Calc Flor in TWW. (Phew, that's a long list! 😂)

How is everyone else?

@HellloBambinos I'm doing SMEP this month, tried it last month too.

In regards to your OPKs definitely test at least twice a day. Last month I was negative in the morning and then got my peak that afternoon. It rises so quickly and fluctuates so definitely do more so you don't miss it 🤞 x

Hi @VP91x, so sorry about your MC .

I just did another OPK test and it was still negative although I thought I could see a faint line, not sure if that means anything. I am only on CD9 though I just thought I would start using them earlier as my cycles are short.

No, normally they get super strong and darker than the control line. This was my line progression throughout the day. I was shocked at how quickly it peaks. How long are your cycles?

Hi everyone. Ok if I join? My DH have been TTK for 10 months. We're both 34 years old, living in the UK. My cycles are variable but will be testing some time between 30th June and 3rd July. Would appreciate some buddies testing around the same time as things are feeling pretty lovely after 10 months of trying!

@VP21x oh wow that's crazy that it's just on one day! Mine looked like the first one I think. Will keep testing regularly in that case

Since I had my implant removed in Jan they have been 26 days but last month it was 24. Makes things slightly trickier as a lot of the advice online uses the textbook 28 day cycle but ah well.

Hi everyone 👋🏼 hope you don't mind me joining!?
I am 30 TTC number 2 (have an almost 8 year old daughter) this is our second cycle, had a chemical pregnancy last month. On a bit of a time limit as I'm getting married next August in Cyprus (was supposed to be this August but has been postponed due to COVID) so giving ourselves this cycle and possibly one more - fingers crossed 🤞🏼
On CD 11 today, probably due to test around 24th June! X

@HellloBambinos I know it is frustrating when alot is based on 28 days and really you learn quickly that not alot of women are like that.

Welcome @Tilly1403 my cycles have been varying too. Hopefully we have a lucky month.

@sle0911 ah sorry that your wedding got postponed that's so frustrating. Hopefully you get PG soon in time before your wedding. That would be so lovely ❤️

@dizziepixie its only been 2 days but so far so good 🤣 its doing so much for my mental health and helping me chill out about it all more. I used to spend all day on here going crazy.

@fran2020 how long are your cycles normally? The stage between ovulation and AF is usually the same. So if you have had longer cycles you probably ovulated later them months. Id be happy ovulating day 12 as less time to wait after AF. Im attempting every 2-3 days but ill probably try and do more closer to the 18th. Although this is my second cycles on soy isolvanes which can help ovulation. It made no difference last cycle but may bring ovulation forward. Trying not to put too much pressure on myself. You are in 2WW again then? Xx

@Tilly1403 hey i know exactly how you feel we are on cycle 11 and when AF arrived this week. I was devestated. Im 34 as well and my husband is 36. Hope its our month

@DoctorBambino ah last month it was 16 days from peak ovulation to AF, so guess that's alright!

@Tilly1403 Welcome! Sounds similar to me! We've been TTC for 11 months now and my next AF is due around 29th ish!

@Whilstwewait My cycles are 26-31 days but usually in the middle. That's a good plan. What do soy isolvanes do?! Make ovulation happen sooner? I'm trying to stay relaxed too. Nope I'm CD5 right now, start testing with the monitor from tomorrow.

Hello, if it’s not too late I would love to join you ladies. I am 32 (DH also 32), we had our DD last year and this is our 2nd cycle TTC. As I am still breastfeeding my cycle is all over the place, last month was 39 days. Using the CB OPK this month. On CD7 so due to start testing in 4 days, and then AF is due first week of July.

We were extremely lucky and had a honeymoon baby last time so new to OPK and so would really appreciate sharing this journey with others! X

Husband and I both 33, married 4 years and have a daughter born March 18. Had originally planned to start trying for our second after our holiday in August but since that's not going ahead now, thinking we should just crack on 🤭
Have to admit, I'm still really anxious with the whole pandemic thing. Should we wait another couple of months?! Anyway, day 4 of AF here so would be due to test on 1st ish July. Cycles are between 27 and 32 days though. Helpful.

@Rosesmum18 I've seen so many people asking the same question regarding whether or not to try. I think if its what you want then no reason to stop trying. If there was going to be a rush of births due to lockdown those babies will be due Dec-Jan/Early Feb most likely so the hospitals won't be super busy. Also, I reckon things will have massively settled down by then with restrictions etc.

But obviously only you know how you feel about it all. It's so personal isn't it.

@VP91x I think you're right you know! Most people who have been in lockdown together all this time are probably sick of each other by now so maybe it'll go a bit quieter 🤣 My husbands been going out working whereas I've been working from home so at the moment we are still friends!! Haha

I've also been thinking, we could wait another few months and the virus peaks again anyway or there'll be something else that gets in the way. Zombie apocalypse? Life is too short. It feels right now somehow which is so weird for an anxious Annie like me!! Just ordered some Pregnacare 🤗

I know, anything could happen at all!! Plus, you never know how long it will take to conceive.

Hi all, may I join? I suffered a miscarriage last week (7+6) so my cycle is off kilter. I have a flashing smiley on my Clearblue OPK and waiting for my static. Going on my usual ovulation pattern I think AF should be due around June 23-24, but I think I will wait until June 27 if AF hasn't arrived before then.

Hi @Snausage, and welcome! Sorry to hear about your MC, I hope you are doing ok. I had a MC last month and my cycle went back almost straight away - in fact I think I actually conceived about 3 weeks after the MC, but it didn't stick (and now I'm suffering from a major come down of hormones, my poor OH!). I read somewhere that MC can give you a temporary boost to your fertility in the few months after, so I'll cross my fingers for you.

@Tokyo29, ah the grass is always greener - I took a year out when I first moved here, and I wish I hadn't rushed back to work. Enjoy the time out, I had the best year of my life without the pressure of going to an office everyday! Yeah, Switzerland isn't very progressive at all - there is still a huge conservative base that believes women should be at home in the kitchen and not in the office. Mat leave is 3 months, and your job is not secure when you go back; I know a few women who have been fired the minute their mat leave is over. My company are quite good, and usually give you up to a year (unpaid, mind!). I don't know what the antenatal groups are like here yet, but there are LOADS of expats (or immigrants I should say, it's the same thing). It's hard to make friends with Swiss people, but I'm trying. I really miss the British sense of humour though. I imagine that you're mostly mixing with expats where you are? The language barrier is a bit tougher there than here!

@Fran2020 we are cycle buddies then as im CD 6 today. Although you will probably ovulate before me. It acts like clomid. You take it for 5 days. Depending what day you start its meant to make you ovulate sooner or have stronger eggs. Ive read loads of positives about people conceiving on it after trying for ages. I heard the same about seven seas conception and preseed though and neither worked for me 🤣
