I think today was ovulation day - I got a clear positive on internet cheapie tests. However the clear blue test i tried to use to confirm just showed a circle, I.e. nowhere near ovulation! Has anyone else found that?

Have you used the clear blue before? Because it always shows a circle the first time you use it.

Yes, I have.

I've never had the flashing smiley, it always jumps from the circle to the static smiley. But I don't know why I would have blazing lines on the cheapie and nothing on the clear blue. It's so confusing!

Are you using the clear blue from early enough in your cycle? I found it I started too late in the cycle, or didn't pick up as dramatic a change in hormone level, so was less sensitive.

Hi I’m new on here and trying for my first baby. I’m also using Clear Blue digital to track my ovulation. This month I predicted ovulation tomorrow however on Monday I got a static smiley indicating ovulation, we DTD that night but wondering if the rest could be wrong as like I said I calculated tomorrow as ovulation day. What are your thoughts?

@CFP20 what did you use to calculate ovulation?

OP I'm learning this stuff myself but could it be that your CB detects two types of hormones and the IC detects one? Hence why one would be positive and the other not.

I also test CB early than day 10 say day 7/8 x

Thanks for you reply! I calculated based on previous months, I’m usually like clockwork periods and ovulation so was surprised to see that CB was early than I thought. Which I guess no month is the same but still makes me think how accurate it is. Yes I try and test CB the day after my period until I test positive. I guess we shall see 🤞🏻 Xx
