Oh, and CD18 here today, with still only the faintest of lines on OPK... Hurry up little eggy, I'm getting bored!!

LKSF · 01/06/2020 13:17

@DKDK123 Oh really, thanks for sharing it really does give you hope when you hear of other ppl taking a while to conceive! It’s so hard isn’t it, no matter how much we tell ourselves to just relax deep down you can’t when you’re so separate for something! Hopefully we both get BFP this month 🤞🏼

@Sydgal22 Yes this will be my first 😊 I have had blood tests/scans and hubby’s had sperm test and all the results came back fine. So hopefully we’ll get that BFP soon 🤞🏼 Yes I know what you mean, sometimes it’s easier to prepare yourself for the worst to avoid disappointment, no matter how much preparing you do tho it’s still tough 😩

DKDK123 · 01/06/2020 13:19

@lucyrp how cruel I'd definitly have gotten myself all excited seeing yours even if there was a 2hour wait id be thinking yup I definitely see blue there it must be true! That must have sucked :(
Your experience does however definitely help me make my decision with mine that its a def neg so thank you for sharing xx

Katao · 01/06/2020 13:28

Hi all. Great to see another bfp! Congratulations @Runnergirl1😘
11dpo and did another cheeky ic test this morning. Bfn. Feel like that is accurate as feels like af isnt far off. Not going to test again until 4th if she hasn't shown up by then.
A lot to keep up with now we have hit June! Good luck everyone, looking forward to seeing some more bfps 🙂

Franklydear · 01/06/2020 13:32

Hospital just called, x-ray tomorrow, so I think will be clear as will only be cd18

TTCgee · 01/06/2020 13:38

@LKSF sorry to hear it's taking so long! Hope this will be your month! 💕

can I ask what point you and your DH went in for testing? I'm going in next month for ovulation tests but they've not said anything about my OH as of yet Xx

Cocoblue22 · 01/06/2020 13:45

Need to catch up posted this on last thread too:

@lucyrp know exactly what you mean I want to POAS too although I’ve been more PIAP 🤣 new one right there peeing in a pot!!! X

@Skip86 well that is literally shit! I feel like I can say that as I know what you are going through. I have ulcerative colitis and although it’s slightly different it’s similar in terms of treatments and symptoms. Luckily for me during pregnancy my symptoms are better that when I’m not PG consulatant wven joked I’d have to be PG constantly to prevent flares!! I’m on a lots of meds (had to switch some around before TTC. Feel bad for you and completely understand about holding off until after you have another baby I don’t know how a colostomy would even work with pregnancy tbf. Big hugs 🤗 hope you feel a bit happier in next few days xx

@TheGirlWhoLived sorry to hear that what did you test with? How many days PO are you? X

@SmileyT I’ve got new FR already and some CB digital on the way it’s just the ovulation sticks that I had a full box of and at £30 a pop I thought I’d give them a go but could of been an error it seems!! X

lucyrp · 01/06/2020 13:52

@DKDK123 so those were even evap lines but they have colour to them id say but they were after 2 hours. Sad isn't it. Why do these tests have to play with our heads 😫 you may get a BFP yet tho! Fingers crossed for you xx

LKSF · 01/06/2020 13:52

@TTCgee So I went to the doctors at about month 3 of TTC (I had been off the pill for over three years so luckily I could tell them a white lie and say I had been trying for longer than I had) my sister had unexplained infertility and ended up having IVF so I was just being proactive as I’m quite an anxious person and felt I’d be the same as her! My DH called his doctors separately from me having tests, they didn’t really ask many questions just got him booked in within a couple of weeks, we then asked to send the report to my surgery, so after seeing my bloods and his sperm were fine she referred us to a fertility clinic for different blood tests and a scan! Hope this helps x

lucyrp · 01/06/2020 13:53

@Franklydear might be mentioning when you get there that you may be pregnant ?

Franklydear · 01/06/2020 14:01

I think I will @lucy but would have even implanted yet?

lucyrp · 01/06/2020 14:07

@Franklydear I don't think it's that as such it would just be worth mentioning it say what CD you are and there's a possibility that something could be happening just so they're aware

Skip86 · 01/06/2020 14:08

@Cocoblue22 my god another bowel disease friend! 👋🏼 I know a fair bit about UC vs Crohns as I was diagnosed with UC aged 12, then had an epic flare at 27 and they switched the diagnosis to crohns because it was effecting so much of my small and large bowel.
I'm sorry you've had to go through this seriously shitty disease too 💗💗 my pregnancy last time must've held off a flare (something to do with natural suppression of your immune system during pregnancy), because literally hours after my son was born (10 weeks prem) I started flaring BAD and ended up staying in the hospital for crohns rather than for having a baby!
I only know one person IRL with IBD, but it's crazy to realise how many people are affected when you start to share your own experience! Big hugs xx

KateColx · 01/06/2020 14:14

@Vil10 yes I think it's difficult, especially as there will always be people who have done more and it makes you worry. But, it only takes the one time to get lucky 🥰 Fingers crosses the pains are a good sign for us both! 🤞🏻 I'm similar to you, technically cycle 3 but this was our first cycle of tracking with CB tests etc so I feel like we're kind of just getting started really. Is this for your first? X

@lucyrp yep completely understand, sometimes you really just need to get it out of your system even though you know it's too early (but with the secret hope you might be one of the early showers haha). Yeah I think I'd trust CB, o hope so anyway as it's all I go off haha. Aw you could be in for a little bit of a wait then, but as long as AF holds off, there's lots of hope for a BFP ☺️☺️ I think I'll test tomorrow morning, I don't think I can hold off much longer 😂

@KRK05 oh god you're so good not having any in the house! Yeah I got some cheapies last month to try and cure my POAS addiction but I think because I know they aren't so sensitive, I'm not that bothered by them and I'm now itching to get into the FRERs 😂 when is it saying AF is due for you? x

blodyn91 · 01/06/2020 14:15

@Franklydear if you say you might be they might cancel it on the spot? I've had a few Xrays and CT scans and they always ask. If your xray is really important maybe don't mention it? It might cause a miscarriage, so they wouldn't risk it 😬??

Cocoblue22 · 01/06/2020 14:23

@Runnergirl1 woohoo that’s a BFP yes! Congratulations so exciting x

blodyn91 · 01/06/2020 14:24

@Franklydear acctually having an X ray whilst pregnant is totally fine. So up to you if you tell them

Sydgal22 · 01/06/2020 14:30

Had my first experience with awkward sex with OH this eve ;( we both knew it had to be done and it was the least unsexy thing ever 🤦‍♀️ Anyone any tips on how to keep it exciting? I think we’re both very much in our heads :(

Noble89 · 01/06/2020 14:32

Hi ladies,

Just playing catch up! Congratulations to all those with their BFPs. It always gives me hope seeing them so fingers crossed you've set a trend a lot of us will follow!

I've no idea what's going on with my cycle. I'm CD17 today and day 5 of flashing smiley but still no static. I got my static CD15 last month and that was a 29 day cycle which is much more in line with how my cycles were before my MC. The previous 2 were 33 days so perhaps this one is going to be longer again. I did have text book EWCM on CD13 and 14 so was really expecting my static at the time. I always ovulated CD14 before my MC so I'm wondering if I ovulated and just missed my LH surge when testing or if I'm going to ovulate late. No way to know I guess! I'll keep testing until cd 22 as I've got enough tests for that then if no static I'll assume I've either missed it or not ovulated this month. OH and I have sex every other day anyway so I'm not really concerned about pin pointing ovulation as we're definitely covered, it's just a bit worrying in case I've not ovulated.

Franklydear · 01/06/2020 14:40

Hmm, NHS website says there's very little risk, if any but only do essential and prefer to wait after the birth
It is really important, in fact I've been referred as urgent, and having it done in a couple of days from gp examination, there is problems with my asthma that are not typical and not covid, it is the 4th flare this year alone, so they really need to look

Vil10 · 01/06/2020 14:55

@KateColx exactly, it only takes the once, I have faith in us and our ovaries haha! Yeah I’m the same, I can’t beat myself up if I get a BFN this month because it’s really not as simple as getting pregnant after one cycle! Yes this both mine and my OH first child, and I’m so so excited! Is it your first?x

Minster2012 · 01/06/2020 15:02

@Noble89 cycles can be very messed up after MC but if you had text book ewcm then it could be upto 3/4 days after that for ovulation the ladies here told me? I’d maybe do it a couple more times around now just in case!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Franklydear I was told by my oncologists that if I got pregnant I might have xrays as a way of checking me so I would say it’s ok for one time especially if you need it bad but that’s for you to decide lovely xx

Cocoblue22 · 01/06/2020 15:08

@Skip86 it’s not a very nice group of diseases really is it! But we have to do what we have to do to try and keep it in remission! 🤞🏻 We both get BFPs then we can be flare free for a while haha! X

VP91x · 01/06/2020 15:36

Wow @lucyrp I was just looking at the pic of your CB tests from last month and can't believe they were evaps! That's crazy. Would've thought they would be much less convincing.

@Sydgal22 last month I followed SMEP and didn't ovulate until CD21 😩 there was nothing romantic by the end but just tried to make each other laugh about it a little. I think this month I will start a little later and maybe try and do it at different times of the day where possible so it doesn't feel too routine before bed etc.

Minster2012 · 01/06/2020 15:38

I’ve just done my daily snoop on my CM & it was a bit stretchy & creamy but there was also a bit of blood. So I think we know who’s on her way in the coming days 🙄
