Hi ladies! I've just ovulated yesterday, had a positive opk yesterday morning and had egg white cervical mucus, today had a negative with creamy sticky cervical mucus so although I got my positibe yesterday I still think I ovulated yesterday. Any ladies that would like to join the TWW

Hey Lmac, this is my first month TTC. I ovulated around 22nd and am due AF on 10/6/20. Since ovulating it feels like SUCH a long wait to see if my next period arrives, whereas normally it seems like it’s here before you know it! Good luck :)

Lmac2018 · 01/06/2020 14:24

Ah well good luck! I hate the TWW but I just try distract myself and make sure I'm taking my folic acid and such, it's a long wait but I just think of it like I'm waiting for a holiday or a birthday x

I'd love to join your thread also! My husband and I are trying to conceive again so fingers crossed for this month! Good luck to you guys as well.

MintGreenLife · 01/06/2020 22:02

Hey ☺️ Would love to join. I'm 2 DPO with AF due on the 13th, think I may test on the 11th. This is my first cycle TTC. I'm 31 and my fiancé is 29. We are due to get married early September but is looking like we probably won't be able to go ahead, so we decided about a month ago to focus on TTC instead. I came off the pill in April, first cycle was 30 days, but I didn't get a positive OPK until CD20 this month - still getting to grips with things!

Lmac2018 · 02/06/2020 01:13

Ah good look ladies, I'm 18 and me and my boyfriend have been together nearly 2 years now, we have our own home together and just feel we are ready. I'm around 3dpo with my period being due between the 12th-14th so I will start testing on the 12th if it hasn't turned up

OP posts:
MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 09:13

@Lmac2018 we will be testing around the same time then ☺️

Turtle07 · 02/06/2020 11:44

I’m testing on Saturday because am going out with the girls so want to know whether I should have a drink or not....excited/nervous/can’t wait/all the feelings!! Why does it drag so much 🙁. I have first response tests arriving from amazon today, don’t know how I’m going to keep them in the box until Saturday haha x

Lmac2018 · 02/06/2020 13:21

Yeah, it's annoying this 2 week wait but it'll be worth it when in finally pregnant, I just have some internet cheapie but they are sensitive so hopefully will catch it early.

Hi ladies, looking to join this thread (hopefully lots of positivity) after having a miscarriage in April. My first AF since came last week so looking forward and ttc. I bought cb ovulation tests for the first time. Any tips on using them .. time, when to start etc?

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 19:15

Hey @PinkRoses20 ☺️ Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I can't advise on the CB OPKs as I've just been using cheap ones, although I am thinking about using the CB ones in my next cycle. Currently 3DPO myself x

PinkRoses20 · 02/06/2020 19:29

@MintGreenLife fingers crossed for us all this month. I am only CD 5 and already thinking about using them but wondering if it's too early and don't want to waste them? I just have no idea if my cycle will be back to normal so worried i miss it.

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 19:49

@PinkRoses20 I have somewhat similar reasons for not using them so far as I came off the pill two months ago and haven't got to grips with my cycle yet. I appreciate that's not the same though. I have thought about using cheap ones throughout the month to make sure I don't miss anything, and then maybe switching to the digitals or doing both around when I think I might ovulate - maybe starting 5 days before or something x

PinkRoses20 · 02/06/2020 20:16

@MintGreenLife hopefully it will settle for you soon 🤞. That's a good idea actually! I will maybe use the cb's this cycle and do that if we don't get lucky this time. I'm actually cd6 not 5, and sooo impatient lol so it's likely i will end up using them in next few days.

MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 20:22

Let me know how you get on with them ☺️ @PinkRoses20 hope you manage to get back on track soon too. This is only my first cycle TTC so still learning. I only ever got a couple of 'highs' on OPKs and never a peak so maybe I missed it, think the CB ones might take the guess work out a bit

Lmac2018 · 02/06/2020 20:28

Hi girls ! I would advise the cheapies opk as they worl just fine for me, idk wether I just have a dark line when I ovukate but mine came out really well

OP posts:
MintGreenLife · 02/06/2020 20:31

@Lmac2018 thanks, I've been using them for the last cycle but this is the darkest line I got, so think it wasn't quite a positive. It literally happened overnight and then was fading again by the evening 🤷🏻‍♀️ My Premom app recorded it as my peak. I guess I felt like it wasn't a definite positive so thought maybe I would give the CB ones a go instead

JUNE THREAD TTC
Turtle07 · 02/06/2020 21:41

Yeah I wasn’t having much luck with the cheapies, could never tell if it was quite dark enough to count as a positive so I used clearblue digital and it was so much easier, got high fertility after 2 days and then the peak after 3. I used a cheapie that day to see if it matched up and it did, I think it’s just harder to time it with the cheapies! X

Lmac2018 · 03/06/2020 00:34

I always get dark opks and then the second line pretty much disappears after I ovukate. That looks like a positive opk to me ! X

Afternoon ladies ! How's everyone feeling ?? Had some weird stomache twinges last night but it's way too early for anything so I'm not putting my hopes down for anything!

OP posts:
Turtle07 · 03/06/2020 13:52

I’m good, desperate to know! Have had period like cramping on and off and my boobs are sore but am due AF next Wednesday so assume it’s because of that. Normally get sore boobs about a week before, but don’t think I’ve had all this cramping so early usually....but then again I’ve never paid attention to it! My first response tests arrived so am going to test Friday and Saturday and hope for a miracle 😊. I always said to my partner that when we start trying I want to keep it chilled, no pressure, don’t want to obsess over am I/aren’t I, playing it proper cool I was 😎. And now since about 3 days after we DTD I’m like OMG I NEED TO KNOW RIGHT NOW 😂🙈 and this is month one, pray for him if this takes a while 😂.

How are you feeling? X

Tokyo29 · 03/06/2020 13:54

I had my copper IUD removed today and tonight will begin our first ever attempt at conceiving Blush I'm so nervous I feel a little ill and have slammed half a bottle of champagne (I don't think those two things are related). After spending my adult life trying NOT to get pregnant it feels pretty weird to change gears. Anyways, I felt like I had to say it to someone, even if it is strangers on the internet. Smile

Lmac2018 · 03/06/2020 18:43

Yeah I'm 4dpo at the moment, only thing I've had is weird twinges but I'm not connecting that to anything. I've been chilled and just been watching documentary and cleaning up to pass the time

OP posts:
Turtle07 · 03/06/2020 18:54

Haha I like your style Tokyo, cheers! It’s crazy isn’t it, when you’re a teenager all you’re ever told is don’t get pregnant, do everything you can NOT to get pregnant, and believe that if you were to have unprotected sex so much as once, chances are you’re gonna end up up the duff. And then when you get older and decide it’s time to try, you wish it was that straightforward 😂.
Anyone got any good recommendations for things to watch on TV at the moment? I think it’s also the not being at work at the moment (with no view to going back any time soon ☹️) that’s making the days drag and making it play on my mind more than it would if my routine was normal.

PinkRoses20 · 03/06/2020 19:03

Don't the days just drag in when your ttc 🙈 i started ovulation tests today, pretty straightforward, only cd7 so going to do one in morning then maybe when i think i'm ovulating do two a day? @Turtle07 i am with you on the change from taking it easy to the absolute need to know whats going on now 😂 i am going to drive my OH crazy ..

Turtle07 · 03/06/2020 20:15

@PinkRoses20 They certainly do. Yeah I think that’s a good way to do it, go twice a day once you start getting a stronger looking line. I’m trying so hard not to talk about it to him because there’s not actually anything to say at this point 😂. I have pretty strong cramping pain tonight ☹️ Any ideas?
