Early miscarriage - HcG levels query

I had an early miscarriage and my hcg level when I first went in 10 days ago was 2400. It has now dropped to 318 (monitored every 48 hours) they have asked me to come for another scan tomorrow. Do these levels seem normal and the scan is just precaution or is there something to worry about?

Hcg levels have dropped, that’s an indicator that the miscarriage is nearly at an end, zero would obviously be miscarriage completely finished.
Scan will be to check for any retained products.

To be honest, ime, HCG levels tell you what you already know.. that the pregnancy is ending, no other information that is helpful.

I didn’t bother going back to have any bloods done after the first couple, pointless really.
