Ovulation pain & brown discharge

Hi.
Has anyone experienced this before? I do regularly get mild cramping over ovulation time, but today’s is ridiculous. The pain is much more concentrated at the vagina entrance and I’ve had minor brown spotting. Which hasn’t happened before.

Is that all normal or something I should go to Gp about? Googling Ovulation pain it only mentions left/right sided pain to do with ovaries, not at the entrance.

This combined with trying conceive baby 3 for last 3 years is making me have a miserable patch. Any reassurance/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can't say I've had vaginal pain but last cycle I had brown spotting from ovulation. Unfortunately this turned into bleeding after two weeks and another two weeks later I'm only just getting HCG levels down (chemical pregnancy).

Apparently 3% of women have ovulation bleeding.

Hopefully it's a good sign for you!

Thank you for replying. The pain is currently continuous, which is crap.

Do you think your spotting happened before/during/after your ovulation? Have I missed my chance of conceiving this month? Wasn’t expecting to ovulate until Wednesday.

Hi - I just read your message on the thread re ovulation pain and brown discharge. Can I ask what happened my? Currently experiencing the same xx

Hi LottieLou. I’ve been trying to remember exact details of what happened and I’m afraid I can’t. I’d actually completely forgotten this had happened until you wrote that message and I reread my OP.

Can tell you that I wasn’t pregnant or miscarrying and that it wasn’t an UTI or STI. That it must have calmed on its own as I don’t remember going to GP. I was trying to conceive at the time and don’t remember stopping t try ohh B over that patch. So whatever it was didn’t affect my next cycle.

Sorry I can’t help more then that. Bit useless really. How are you today? Hopefully more comfortable. If it keeps hurting go to the GP. That’s what they are there for. x
