Hi, just wondering whose husbands/partners have done at home sperm tests and the success rates. Worth the money? We've been trying nearly 9 months now so getting to the anxious stage! He's 37, I'm 34 and ttc #1

My husband did, it was completely wrong.
It said his was stupidly low and caused ALOT of stress and upset.
He then did a SA through our fertility clinic and it came back above average.

Total waste of money and caused so much stress that every time I see someone ask about them I feel like I have to shout about his results haha.

I would go to your GP and ask for a sperm analysis, much more reliable x

You’re welcome, it may be different for other people but I’d save your money and ask for a test through the GP.

Best of luck x

Yeah we will @Thewait2020 just impatient as our gp won't see us until the 12 month mark. 3 months to go from next week, just hope it doesn't get to that stage! Ttc is a mindfuck lol!

Problem is clinics are closed but likely to reopen for test referrals soon.
