Have I ovulated?

Could anyone give me their opinion on my chart for this month? I normally ovulate CD15, has once been late at CD18. My temps are lower than normal, the differences in time taking is because I've gone back to work - when furloughed I was taking my temp at 8.30am whereas now I'm taking it at 7am so it's saying I'm taking my temps earlier than usual. Perhaps this is why it's not picked up ovulation?

No you would still see a clear rise post ovulation. What are your other charts like?

Thanks for replying, here's a couple of previous months charts

Not yet. I don't think the time difference would make that much of a difference to be honest, as long as you're getting a solid 3 hours+ sleep. Do you use opks as well? Might just be you're going to ovulate later this cycle.

@VenusStarr Thanks, not using OPK's this cycle, when I've used them in the past they correlate with CD15 as usually being ovulation day.

How long have you been ttc?

Porridgeoat · 30/05/2020 23:25

Your charts look much like mine did. I was having regular periods but day 21 progesterone tests showed my eggs weren’t fully mature and I needed clomid to help produce mature eggs that could be fertilised.

Thanks. It will be 6 years since I stopped contraception (due to having a reaction to too much oestrogen). Wasn't actively TTC, but did nothing to prevent it for a couple of years. Then we go through periods of actively trying (ie BBT, OPKs etc) then having a break and hoping it will just happen. I've had tests - bloods, swabs, internal & external ultrasound but been told nothing to report :( DP has had no tests, he's reluctant as we're both young so says there's time.

Maybe ask for a day 21 retest and post the results for advice.

Porridgeoat · 31/05/2020 21:09

It’s a lot of years 😞

Bunny2006 · 01/06/2020 19:07

@Porridgeoat Thank you. My doctors haven't been very supportive, as I had the tests in my early 20's despite trying for a couple of years before them they just said there's time. But I will go back in a couple of months.

This morning's temp is 34.6, fertility friend has put ovulation at CD9 again. It did this before but then changed it to no ovulation. CD9 would be ridiculously early

Ok so this is what my chart looks like now after finally having a temp rise.

I wish I had kept my old charts to post. I had periods and a rise but it wasn’t a big enough jump up and didn’t last long enough.

Definitely ask for a day 21 progesterone test and ask for the results
