Hi folks,
I'm late 30s and my period was due on Tues 26th. It still hasn't turned up.
I'm normally regular. DH and I have 2 children already. We have been using pull out (yes I know it's not really a method of contraception) but wouldn't be the end of the world if we had a 3rd, can afford it etc.
We have been doing this successfully for a few years now however period is late have taken 2 tests Thursday and Friday and both are negative.
I have some clear stretchy discharge but that's it.
No other pregnancy symptoms.
Not sure what to think.

It’s probably hormonal. It’s not impossible to fall pregnant with the pull out method but it’s actually really unusual because most men don’t have sperm in their pre-ejaculate. If you have two negative tests after your period is due, I’d probably not give it any more thought until another week or so has passed in which case I’d test again!

Ok thanks just unusual for me. We did get a bit carried away when I was using my hand on him and then some of his ejaculate accidentally went near my genital area.

No problem, I hope you get an answer soon and I hope it’s the answer you want either way!

@Ohfrigginghellers I know exactly what you mean. I was due on yesterday, we have one child already and aren't being too careful in the bedroom. I'm only a day late, but also got a negative test. Going to give it a few more days before testing again.

It looks like AF has come this morning. Have to say I'm relieved although we would have managed with another. DH was referred for a vasectomy before lockdown. Don't think it's going to be the NHS priority right now.
