Cramping badly

Hiii! So my period is due in 10 days but I am having what feels like cramping really low down like period pains? I have had unprotected sex throughout the month and was just wondering what this could be?

Could potentially be ovulation pain.
Maybe TMI but if me and my partner do doggy I get a deep aching pain after for a few hours, I think it's cause the position means he literally stabs me in the cervix lol.
