Have had two previous Mirenas. First was in for the full 5 years. Second was taken out after 4 years so I could try for a baby. I had a csection and the coil was put in at the same time. When it came to my check up with the nurse she couldn’t find it. Had to go to the hospital and have an internal scan to make sure it was there! It’s been in for 14 months now. Today I had heavy bleeding and period pain. Not had any periods as prior to this or on my other coils. Went toilet and it was hanging out. Had to give it a tug but it was in a massive clot I’m still heavy bleeding 4 hours later.
Sent an e-consult to GP who will reply tomorrow. Anyone had it fall out?? Or heavy bleeding when it came out!!
