Just want AF to arrive so new cycle can begin...

AF due in 3 days.

Am sure I'm out this month - negative FRER today and I have the usual PMS acne.

Just want my period to come already so that I can get this useless cycle over with and have a commiseration beer.

Just frustrating as have been taking pre-conception vitamins for months, cut out caffeine, no alcohol during TWW, have DTD every other day, tracked ovulation and with no success.

Anyone else fancy a moan whilst waiting for AF to show up?

@mrswilso we did the same, jumped right back on the horse so say 😂 I found it hard to get in the mood originally but I’m so glad we did start quick because it helped me move on. I get that, at the time I dealt with it quite well and remember doctor being shocked by my attitude of like yes I can get pregnant as that’s how I saw it but there’s definitely still triggers which will just make me burst into tears but that gets better too. You do need to grieve though so let yourself have that too ❤️

Ah I hope so for you - good luck this cycle. I think my O was about 5 days late in my first cycle so might want to keep an eye on with opks or similar for first couple 😊

@LS2020 that's is EXACTLY how we've looked at it right from the start and to be honest it really helped us too. To be honest, DH was more excited about the fact that we managed to catch than that we actually were pregnant 🤣 - I think he had been starting to get a bit concerned about his sperm (age and had a wild wild youth!)
CD11 today on the first natural cycle after 🌈🤞🏻

I’m waiting again for AF as this will be the start of the cycle where I get my FET. Due today or tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Can’t believe it. A week after enquiring about a private consultation, we’ve reached the top of their list! They said six weeks for some clinics so this is amazing. So happy to have the ball rolling, so to speak.

@mrswilso yes I was so resigned to never seeing that second line that I’m at a point that I’m really grateful for that experience and know how long I waited to have that moment. It might be worth paying for a SA - we just assumed OH was fine as young and ideal weight etc so was a surprise when we got morphology score but we started him on vits this month so hoping that improves his end 🤞🏻

AF arrived this morning with a vengeance. I could be pregnant again by the end of the month... 🤞
This will be my first FET, I had a fresh transfer of a 5-day embryo back in mid October but miscarried (blighted ovum) in late Nov. I was surprisingly pragmatic about it, maybe because I’ve still got 7 embryos to try with, I don’t know.

@LS2020 will your DH get another test to see if anything’s improved before you try again?

I'm a bit earlier this cycle at CD14 peak (usually CD16/17 clockwork) and I've never had a peak carry on into the next evening either 🤔
When will you have your transfer??

I’ve gone from waiting for AF to arrive, to waving her goodbye and testing for my LH surge. Should be later this week, fingers crossed, so embryo transfer late next week...

Not expecting a re test at the moment for my OH but I think they do if they decide on IVF so will have to see.

Had my day 3 blood results back and apparently I’ve got low oestrogen so asked me to retake next month and see what result says. I ended up having a weird AF which was 3 days early so not sure if that’s impacted it. Rang fertility clinic but they said I had to wait until I had all my tests back (can’t get Hycosy done as they’re not offered atm) to speak to doctor if I need supplement 😩

@LS2020 well that sucks 😩 hope it was just a weird cycle for you this month.

I think I'm having a weird one too - this is my first fully natural cycle since the MC and I got what I would expect to see for my usual peak on CD14 (early) stayed up the usual 48hrs and went down to normal CD17 then since CD20 I've been getting almost peaks (darker than control by a good bit so read as peak, but not my usual dystealers)
Don't really know what to make of it. We've DTD CD9/11/13/14/16/18/20 so I've hit them all anyway 😂

My first cycle was a bit weird too @mrswilso, hopefully all your efforts will be rewarded, definitely sounded like you ovulated somewhere in there!

@Sunbird24 thank you - agreed with them to retest next month as all my results were a bit weird. Had a google and said sometime can get thrown off by dieting/ lots of weight loss and I lost 5kg in January so hoping it’s that and going to have a normal month to check.

@mrswilso my first cycle after was weird too - think I ovulated about 4 days late in the end. That is a fab effort! I’m due to O Valentine’s Day and need to start ramping up but been so tired this week, no idea why!

Had my initial telephone consultation with the private fertility clinic today. The doctor confirmed what we already knew really, that everything points towards issues with me and ovulation. We’ve been booked in for blood tests and an internal ultrasound for me and a second semen analysis for DH in two weeks time.
It makes me so annoyed that we had to go private but it is definitely worth it so far, everything is moving so quickly!

Hi @Ughmaybenot, annoying as it is that you’ve had to go this way at least now you’ll feel like you have a bit more control. Hopefully they’ll find something that’s easy to either fix or work round!

@Sunbird24 thanks lovely! Fingers crossed!! The consultant said she thought it would probably be a case of a couple of cycles of clomid-equivalent (I forget the name!) and that would probably work so 🤞🏻

@Ughmaybenot so glad you’re making progress! I need to ring and see if I can do my Hycosy private to speed things up I think. I’m still basically stuck at the tests stage

I’d definitely loook into whether it might be affordable for you @LS2020. Like I said, I hate that it’s even an option to be honest but it’s so much faster and because it’s essentially a business, the ‘service’ is so much better!
I’ve gone private before, for something largely unrelated when I was a teenager, but that was when my ma still paid for everything for me 😂

LH surge has started this morning, so I’ll call the clinic on Monday and arrange an appointment for my FET, think it’ll be Friday

@Ughmaybenot yeah unfortunately it’s a world of you get what you pay for! Even if it’s just getting the one test as in a months time it’ll on by Hycosy left. I read a bit too much about IVF though and freaked myself on that process so maybe I’m happy to buy myself a few more weeks 😂

FET confirmed for 1030 on Friday. I’m a little sad today as after the article about Megan’s miscarriage managed to be released while I was waiting for mine to start, the photo with the announcement of her pregnancy shows she’s about as far along as I would be if I hadn’t lost it. Really happy for them, just wistful for myself, and can’t tell anyone in real life without sounding mawkish or self-centred.

It’s so hard to see something like that, my old manager is due 2 days after I’m due and it’s heartbreaking to see her and her bump. Hopefully you’ll have your rainbow baby soon and all this journey will become worth it ❤️
