Hi
Just wanted to know if anyone has tried the Chinese gender predictor before conception and did it work?

Haha yeah I did and it was accurate, but I’m sure it was coincidence- after all what about those people with boy-girl twins? Remember you are age 1 at birth in the Chinese calendar and the months correspond to the lunar months after Chinese New Year, not the Gregorian calendar. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

It really really did!

@paulina38 I’ve never had a baby, despite TTC for what feels like forever, so probably have no right to comment but I had a look at one of those tools and played around with the months and it literally just went boy/girl/boy/girl etc so it’s got a 50% chance of being right. I mean it’s fun to do but I can’t really believe it’s accurate for its own merits and not just coincidence. Just my opinion though.

Wrong both times for me Smile

It was correct for us

In surveys it's right... around 50% of the time!

Chinese Gender Predictor could be very accurate if you know how to find out the correct lunar age and lunar month. You can try this one which can convert the western age and month into the lunar age and month.
