Feeling so anxious about waiting for the first AF after stopping the mini pill! Can't help but look online for answers.

It's still really early days for me but I'm just not hoping it'll take months.

How long did it take others to get there first AF?

Hi @misseb89
I came off of the mini pill towards the end of Feb and had what I think was my first proper period (or withdrawal bleed-it looked and felt like the real deal) beginning or March and then each month since it’s roughly been round the same few days.

I hope she does turn up soon for you. When did you stop? X

Mine returned straight sweat after stopping mini pill and I was pregnant within 2 months.

@Chicken123 I stopped 16/5/20 so really early days I know. Had a few days of spotting and then absolutely no so signs of anything.

However I was on the combined pill originally and that took 8 months for periods to settle down and 2 years to conceive my first DC. I didn’t want to go back on it was I knew we wanted a second child so used the mini pill instead.

@misseb89 Ah, it wasn’t that long ago at all then. Definitely give her a few weeks and see if she arrives x

@Chicken123 yes definitely early days! It's hard not to think about it all the time 😂 you spend most of your life trying to avoid getting pregnant and hating periods and now I can't wait for a period!!!
