Hi ladies,

I’m desperately TTC #1 after a mmc in March. I stalk the conception boards especially in the tww and it’s a constant flurry of symptoms from posters! Has anyone else got zero symptoms and got a BFP? I’m trying to think back to my first BFP and can’t remember many?

I’m in my tww and no sore boobs and feel like all is lost already Sad

So sorry to hear of your miscarriage OP.

Ive had no symptoms before 6 weeks at the earliest every time I’ve been pregnant except once (2 children,2 mc) I was ttc for 3 years first time round and every month had loads of symptoms, however I was never pregnant. The month I got pregnant with Ds, I didn’t actually test until 15dpo (unheard of for me!) as I had absolutely no symptoms so thought I was out,I did have a mild period like pain the day after testing but that was it. Never had sore boobs or nausea or anything in the first 12 weeks.

Second pregnancy (mmc at 9 weeks) no early symptoms at all, only found out because I used to religiously test every month from 7dpo onwards Blush Started to feel slightly nauseous at 8 weeks which then disappeared at week 9, prompting me to attend the EPU.

Third pregnancy (mc 5 weeks) felt incredibly dizzy at 10dpo and boobs killed, then nausea from 14dpo. First hcg at 16dpo was 28 which is when I knew something wasn’t right despite the strong symptoms.

Fourth pregnancy with DD again absolutely no symptoms, i was still testing religiously from around 6/7dpo and nearly fell over when I saw the faintest of lines at 9dpo! Had mild period pains again at 14dpo but I doubt I would have noticed if I hadn’t known I was pregnant and obsessing over every twinge incase it was another mc Sad No sore boobs, metallic taste, increased sense of smell or anything! Morning sickness did kick it at week 6 and stayed throughout the pregnancy however but before that absolutely nothing.

Good luck.

Me!
Literally nothing, didn’t feel pregnant, thought a BFN would be a formality... mostly here people are comparing symptoms hoping that they’re pregnancy signs. They’re more in touch with their bodies and noticing every twinge. I came to the conclusion that those with all the symptoms are no more likely to get a BFP than those with none, after all, until the HCG is high enough it’s all the same hormones regardless and we all have different responses to them! Good luck xx

I had absolutely no symptoms at all - and not for lack of looking/willing for them! I'd had really long and irregular cycles and no idea when I ovulated so I tested one weekend, BFN then the next Saturday morning I thought well I'll test again expecting BFN as always but no! Massive surprise even though we were actively TTC if that makes sense haha. Don't lose hope x

I’ve never got any symptoms really, it’s either been absolutely nothing or with my second child I felt like my period was coming/I was on it. I had a full week of cramps like my period was here but without the period, it was very bizarre. I tested a day or so late and it was negative so I just thought my body was being weird (I was breastfeeding so put it down to that) but nearly 2 weeks of no show my friends persuaded me to test again and I was pregnant. The other 2 times I’ve been pregnant there’s been nothing leading up to a positive test. It usually takes about 6 weeks to start feeling a bit off etc.

I think a lot of the symptom spotting on here is people willing themselves to be pregnant and people egging one another on as they feel sick 20 seconds after they’ve had sex lol. In saying all this my period is late and I feel sick 😆... I’m clearly egging myself on!

Thanks ladies, that makes me feel a lot better. It’s my own fault for trawling the threads during this tome but it feels like every other thread is ‘I’m 5DPO and I feel so sick, dizzy, my boobs are in AGONY’ and if I’m being honest I feel totally normal (and I guess a bit left out/worried).

Surely you wouldn’t get too many symptoms until 14DPO anyway as the HCG would be so low!?

Sorry OP I can’t tag you but thank you for posting this, I’ve been feeling exactly the same this time round and even had a big cry last night because I was so disheartened not feeling anything.
I’m 10 DPO but had a weird cycle last month and normally would have my normal PMS symptoms, sore bbs, spots and craving salty food but just nothing this month and feel my cycle must not have happened. The other posts have made me feel better, thank you!
I agree though - if you don’t implant until 8-10 DPO how are you supposed to have any actual symptoms? Though I try to tell myself this but then every month still sit there googling ridiculous things Grin

I had no symptoms for 3 of my 4 children. My son i knew extra early on as i felt so poorly. X

Honestly? I think for a large part early symptoms are more psychological (I'm guilty too 🤣) also, when you're so aware of TTC it's so easy to make connections. Like if if early on in my cycle i felt a bit sick one day, or my boobs ached, I wouldn't really take much notice of it, but in my Tww I'm hyper aware of my body & everything can be linked to a pregnancy symptom. Not sure if that makes sense as a bit of a ramble 😂 but I'm trying to take 'symptoms' with a pinch of salt at this point & trying not to focus on them so much

Hi @DNAshelicase

Can't comment on being pregnant and having no symptims as still waiting to get to the pregnant stage 🙈
Since I started tracking my cycles and inputting data I have found that every single twinge, sore boob, nausea, headache I'm thinking 'oooh, its a sign!'.
It's not a sign. It's just my body. Prob the same as every month but because I'm logging it, I'm reading into it too much.
At the moment my brain is doing the whole 'I'm on CD30 now, my boobs are killing me and I'm having fluttery cramps this is it', but I'm having to stop myself googling symptoms and getting my hopes up.

I've known people who have been hit hard with early pregnancy signs from 10DPO and some who have had absolutely nothing until they missed 2 periods.
Everyone is different so what is normal for one person will be different for you and me I'm sure.
Just try not to read into what everyone else is doing (she says, doing the opposite🤦🏼‍♀️).
