Thrush and TTC

Hi! I'm just a few days away from hopefully ovulating, and I've got thrush 😫 it's quite sore and I'm using cream for it. It's cycle 24 for us so don't really want to waste any time, but obviously if needed we'll skip this cycle. My question is, if it's not too painful can we try to have sex? Or is it just a total no go? Or what can I do to get rid of it quicker? Nightmare. Thanks!

@melissasummerfield yeah I thought that but I wasn't sure if it is/ how long it is 'contagious' for as some websites have said it's uncommon for it to be passed on to partners in sex. unsure..

Speaking from experience you can pass it on and in my case it was after symptoms had gone away so thought it would be fine.

I can recommend the tablets for treatment, expensive but worth it!

@melissasummerfield ahh will probably leave it then, I've not had it whilst TTC before so just had no idea 🥴 tablet recommendation would be fab please!

Yes the canesten ones , standard name is fluconozole i think
